It's not so much the individual women coming forward. If that was all they would be easily dismissed. The problem for Donald the Molester is that they are just confirming what everyone already knows. We all have heard his weak denial from the debate. The lie that it was just talk. We all knew that there would be women coming forward to talk about the lie as soon as we heard it. We all know what and who this man is. There is no surprise. The only question is how many Americans are willing to just say that they can live with such a man as POTUS. The SC has been a little progressive in the last couple years. It's beginning to look like a fairly good chance it will be even more so shortly. But even somewhat "liberal" justices are actually quite conservative, responsible people. They are after all part of the "elites". The SC doesn't ever get out in front of the public. But they don't necessarily resist change either. You'll be alright. The Roberts court won't be changed that much. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Sums it up nicely. This thing is fascinating to watch. As it becomes more and more clear that America will not be voting for Trump both he and his supporters sink lower and lower. The level of bitterness and anger is hard to stomach. It probably better for the R party that this happens. It will make the decisions about which way to go much clearer. Bring on the evil nastiness. It will make the purge easier to take. Trump and his gang are like an emetic. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

This. Religion and morality are completely unrelated. So many immoral things have been done in the name of so many different religions that connecting the two is laughable. The basic idea behind Christianity and all the Abrahamic religions is inherently evil. But that does not mean religious people can't act morally. Morality is like pornography. I can not define it, but I know it when I see it. "I know it's true because I made it up myself" is a direct reference to this idea. And it is not just me. We each, on our own, decide on morality by ourselves. And none of us agree completely with anyone else. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. I did not and have never said that. They are two different canopies of two different designs. Why would anyone think that they both open in the exact same time? One opens in less time/distance than the other. Both are certificated canopies that meet the standard. I consider both to be "safe". But they each have different strong and weak points, relative to each other. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

This is about the only position I've heard from you that makes sense. Why do you need to spread lies about HRC, BHO, and other liberals. Is it just because they are from the other tribe, and you have a need to demonstrate hatred toward them to show your loyalty? You will comply. You will come to love your new leader. You will do as she asks you to do. You are powerless to resist. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

I can't imagine her wanting to do that. So even if you live that long, and the rapture leaves you behind, you are probably correct this one time only. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Having problems with line twists on deployment
gowlerk replied to SICness's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You have given us a few hints that can help. First of all, this is rental gear. So in all likelihood the harness does not fit you well. You state that you are 150 lbs, but not your height. In any case, sometimes rental gear has adjustable main lift webs. If this one does ensure that they are adjusted correctly. And especially that they are evenly adjusted on both sides. If they are not adjustable, carefully consider just how badly it fits you. Most likely the harness is far too long for you. This makes it very easy for one legstrap to side down. This would nearly gaurantee opening problems. Since you are loading the canopy lightly it is taking a little longer to open, which gives it more chance to spin up. If you can't find gear that fits, try making an effort to load the harness evenly on opening. You can do this by being stable and square in the harness when you deploy. Then as you get to line stretch and the harness loads and begins to stand you up, stab both your legs evenly toward the ground and try to feel the harness taking up your weight. Don't just lay there in the air letting you deploying parachute throw you around. Take control of it through your harness before the canopy even opens. This sort of blathering nonsense usually just gets a pass here. That is because it is so obviously false that it needs no answer. But it does say something about you. And it is not flattering. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Here's what Mark Procos from UPT had to say on the topic: BPA Skydive the Expo 2015 - Equipment Compatibility with Mark Procos Softer openings was one of the design goals for the OPT. That means covering longer distance, which may make it less safe than a PDR under specific circumstances (where many other variables and decisions come into play). On the other hand, it may be safer than a PDR at higher speeds or in situations where canopy size is a factor. I have not seen sufficient evidence to conclude that the OPT is inherently less safe than the PDR, but I do have my Vigil set to 1,250 ft to account for the longer snivel. Nice. That is by far the most realistic and sensible thing I've seen written about this subject. Design is compromise, and PD did not get something for nothing when they built in a short snivel. Yes you do. And that is the basis of the hypocrisy that is built into your life, through your belief system. It is called thinking outside the ego-linear pattern. It involves expanding awareness as opposed to intellectual fact accumulation. Transcending Levels of Consciousnes by David R Hawkins, MD, PhD. Well, you can believe that. Apparently you work hard at, and are good at believing things that have no basis in fact. And using rationalizations for those beliefs. I'll just use the much simpler term "hypocrisy" because I am a simple man of simple beliefs. BTW, the language and terms you just used smack of elitism, are you an elitist and well as a Christian? No, it is not. They are charged with drug offenses. The ammo was seized, but the article does not mention any charges in relation to it. I'm not sure under what law it was seized, but the house was a large grow op. And it would not seem prudent to just leave it there. I'm guessing if someone can prove legitimate ownership they will be able to recover it. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Nice picture of him and Bondi. She looks nice, but I wonder where his hand is? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

I'm not sure either. But a pallet of most anything tops out a about 2 tons. Anything more is too much for the common forklift, or the floor of the truck. A lot of products keep the weight of a pallet to 2200 lbs so that you can put them side by side in the truck. Ammo would be a very heavy product for it's size. That is probably not a standard 40 x 48 inch pallet. If it is it would not be stacked very high. Google tells me 100 rounds is 2.69 lbs so only about 140,000 rounds on one of those pallets. I bet there is a lot more than that up in the GA hills. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

California OKs driverless cars on (a few) public roads
gowlerk replied to billvon's topic in The Bonfire
Wonder batteries have been just around the corner for so long now that I almost am ready to group them with fusion power. I can see battery powered flight coming, but the need for lightweight components will still leave the vehicle not suitable for the road. I don't see "flying cars" meaning vehicles that are good for both road and sky as a real possibility. For the same reasons that flying birds are not primarily land creatures, and land birds can't fly. Are you old enough to remember the "Super Car" TV show? Now there was a dream car! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTW3sEOaPqU Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. -
That's about 5 miles from where I live. Grow ops are very common here. Bulk ammo, not so much. Probably the grow op is biker owned and operated by a stooge. The ammo, likely in storage for transit elsewhere. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

I like your thinking. All those things are factors. Along with winner take all primaries and the fact that no one else stood out in an inspirational way. I know for sure that academics will be studying that GOP primary for years. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

I don't want to start another new thread. But if you voted before and have now changed your mind, perhaps you could mention why? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

SC, like skydiving in general is dominated by white males, many with military backgrounds. There are very few black skydivers in America. It would be wrong to say that all these white males are conservatives, but there is a tendency there. As a rule, this group of Americans don't vote Democrat, and they especially dislike HRC. So, faced with only two choices, many of them would choose Trump. They know his shortcomings, but they don't want another Democrat as POTUS. There is a real turning point in social policy coming soon in the US, and it could go either way. A truly conservative POTUS, along with Republican majorities in both houses, would enable a change in direction that these people are longing for. Trump is not a true conservative, but he is far more so than HRC. You need only to look as far as the Supreme Court to see just how important this election is. Having Trump as the nominee is a disaster for the Republican agenda and a Godsend for Liberals. And in my opinion the nation as well. But as I am Canadian, my opinion counts little at all.
