Well done, now I have to search NPR and see if it's online. Must be a local show, not listed on the NPR website. But I found it here: http://www.saysyouradio.com/listen-now/

Who cares. Impeach first, ask questions later. It’s the American Way. No That is the progressive leftist way. Actually it is the right wing way. They tried it will Clinton but the Senate would not play along. Remember? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Smaller cameras are getting better. But there are basic physics involved in sensor sizes and potential results. A Sony action cam sensor measures about 6.2 x 4.5 mm. A full frame sensor is 24 x 36 mm. There are many sizes in between, but as a rule a larger sensor has greater abilities.

Are you looking to start a brand war?! Seriously, both are very well built. Well enough to last you for as long as you are likely to be skydiving. When ordering you can tell them if the goal of the suit is a slow, or medium fall rate in the comment section.

Actually it's not hard to argue that China is much freer and open now than is was then. So I would say that the premise has been proven correct. Although I do think we would both agree that there is a trend in China to resist further freedoms. So if you want to debate whether or not China has become more open since the days of Nixon and Kissinger you will probably find that you are the one with the incorrect theory. The days when China needs the US market to grow are coming towards their end. It's economy is not fully modernized yet, and it suffers from more corruption that we have in the west in general and the US in particular. But it is poised to explode and be a dominant force soon. Fortunately it's leadership is smart enough to wait out the unfortunate Trump years. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Read my earlier post and do the math. 626,000 is a lot of people. But heroin is very potent. How many grams of full strength smugglers grade heroin do you think the average user can go through in a year? Two truckloads is plenty. If it makes you feel any better it's estimated that Russians use almost twice that amount. And Europe three times. The Afghans by population have the world's worst opiate problem. China is often thought of as a police state. But opium use there is also very high compared to North America. The real problem here in the last decade is not heroin, but prescription pain killers. It is the greed of the legal drug companies that has paved the path to the increasing death rate. Yes, they are dying from heroin laced with fentanyl, but they got started at the doctors office. The estimated annual US heroin consumption is 70 tons. About two truckloads. That's not a difficult amount for organized gangs to smuggle through ports in concealed compartments 10 or 20 pounds at a time. Sure, they'll lose some to law enforcement. But they'll manage to easily supply the market. 70 tons may not sound like much. But it's enough to give each of those 626,000 users a little more than 100 grams each. Hint, heroin dosage is highly variable depending on tolerance built up from usage. But 15 mg is considered to be a high dose for intravenous use. (if using pure diacetylmorphine, it's proper name) Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

That will be pretty hard on moral in the National Guard and the reserves I would imagine. Long hot and dusty days are probably alright with them if it is serving an important need. But since it is only a publicity stunt for the dotard there will likely be some resentment. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

If there is solid evidence of something serious, then yes. That's different. If all they have is substantially the same as what we know now it would be a very unwise move. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

There had better be a damn good reason for impeachment with broad support from both parties if that is what happens. As bad as Trump is a clearer picture will emerge on the future after the mid-terms. If the House changes hands and Trump is impeached with D only action it will be very bad for America. And it will be futile because there will be no conviction in the Senate. Elections have consequences. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Yup, time to move on. Jay has been given enough attention for the claims he will never back up. Time to just ignore them now. I think I've made every point I have to on a subject that can never be resolved. But I enjoyed my exchange with Ron in this thread, so it has not been a complete waste. None of those are even close to being the coolest exits. Those are mostly exits that new jumpers try because they can't yet do the difficult stable formation exits. But I'm glad you are having fun learning about things. I'm assuming you have access to large aircraft. Ask about doing a tube. (Basically two side by side wagon wheels with grips across them)

Do you believe in magic? Yeah. So you subscribe to the theory that matter is eternal? I know nothing of eternity. I don't pretend to. You are the one claiming knowledge of eternity. Again, put up or shut up. And quit trying to change the subject. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Right, information needs a source but intelligence doesn't. It's so obvious! https://youtu.be/eZfdYI4U1Vs Magic, another believer in magic. Still no proof of anything at all. Background check? Only if you want to buy a gun.
gowlerk replied to airdvr's topic in Speakers Corner
I'm still confused. In what way do you see Bill defending anyone? In any case I agree that better pre-employment checks should have been done here. How does that affect gun background purchase checks? Are you trying to make a case against Wasserman or against background checks? But not for mass murder. You are not very detail oriented are you? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

I'm not sure how to take that. But let me assure you that I am aware that I possess a modicum of intelligence but that I am not overly impressed with myself over it. The reality is that I am a long distance truck driver and part time rigger with a grade eight education. I am not up on the emblems of the military, but I assume the beret and knife you use as an icon indicate your success as a US Army Green Beret. I stand in awe of that accomplishment. There are several posters here who I am in awe of for different reasons, but mostly for what they have done. As far as the conflict we are in regarding proof of god, it is far too easy for me. Your position is indefensible except as belief. But you refuse to defend it that way, you insist that you can use logic. I am assuming you come from a place where these beliefs are unquestioned. Now you are at a place where no one owes you anything and you will be challenged on things you thought were settled. Welcome to the wider world. Background check? Only if you want to buy a gun.
gowlerk replied to airdvr's topic in Speakers Corner
I'm confused. What is the point of this thread? Are you concerned about the lack of security checks for important IT workers with access to Congressional records? That seems valid. Are you trying to say that this proves background checks for firearm acquisition are not justified? I don't see the connection. Are you trying to attack Wasserman because you don't like her? Then please say so. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. -
Finally, something we can agree on! But a little basic research will show you that the recent uproar over the pope's opinion on the existence of Hell is false news. The pope believes in hell as far as any reasonable interpretation of what he has ever said will show. I didn't make the remark about the Pope. I just said what I said about the Reformation. I realize you're obviously the smartest person in the room but a little basic research on your part would show you that. There are several people who regularly post in this forum who are very obviously smarter than me. If I sometimes seem to be trying to appear intelligent it is merely because I'm attempting to keep up to those posters. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Small jumper not being strong enough to flare
gowlerk replied to bodypilot90's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Worst advice I've heard in a while. The OP mentioned that this a newer jumper. The Katana is an elliptical canopy with an aggressive, ground-hungry design - NOT intended for young jumpers. A newbie should never jump a canopy with those qualities. This young lady is already having problems flaring completely and/or properly. An incomplete or improper flare under a Katana would not be pretty. From the PD Katana page: > The Katana is a fully elliptical nine cell canopy that is the ride of a lifetime for the experienced canopy pilot. Warning: this canopy is not for the faint of heart. Soft smooth openings, long control range, steep dive, light front riser pressure and a powerful flare make the Katana an excellent choice for those looking for the engine to push their limits. Whoever posted this advice needs to know that when talking to new jumpers it is not appropriate to make mocking jokes like this.
