Post your quirks!!! (The talk about yourself thread)
hexadecimal replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
I always visually inspect and wash a glass, spoon, fork, knife, plate, etc... before using it (even if it's plastic). I usually won't use paper plates. I always use one white towel and one colored towel when taking a shower (white for me, colored on the floor). I have constant road rage and hate when people use cell phones while driving. I rarely approach or talk to someone unless first approached or talked to. Before driving a car, boat, motorcycle, waverunner, etc... I always inspect it visually for potential problems. I never use a wallet, and never have. Any cash I have on me is kept rolled up with all bills facing the same way and smallest bills on the outside to largest bills on the inside. I'm incredibly organized to the point of almost seeming insane at work, but constantly misplace things at home. I'll stop there so that I don't seem too insane... -
Definitely... though that would also put him quite a ways above the 20k mark

I definitely left too soon... but I had promised my friend I'd go downtown to see him DJ. I really did want to stay for the fireworks and to possibly be "social", believe it or not I'm a little drunk right now but should hopefully be back at SDC later this morning... we'll see.

I believe I owe lots of beer already... though pretty much everything is a first for me at this point. 0:3:3 1.) First 17k load 2.) First 16k load... and my first sunset load. The view was incredible

...and she called me an anti-social snob Nice meeting you Sunshine... I'll try to be more social when I'm no longer focused on the AFP At least my car won't get egged again...
-
You know what... that was the first thought that entered my head when it happened! I need a picture so I know who I'm looking for though... check the SDC thread for a picture of me (hint - I'm the only scrawny pale white 5'5" midget at the place for the most part ).

Condolences... sorry for your loss.

I do usually have at least a couple coats of wax on it... but unfortunately they got to me after 3 weeks of track dust / tire rubber / dirt had accumulated and I hadn't had time to re-wash and re-wax it yet.

Some little spoiled bastard punks (lots of those in my area) egged my car while I had it parked in a friend's driveway the other day. I was only there for about an hour. Now I've got dull lines all over the paint where the egg ran down and I have to replace the 3M film where it got hit as well. Estimated repair cost: $2,500+ because they have to basically remove the entire rear end of my car to repaint it. The car is 9 months old WTF is wrong with people?? "Hey a nice car... lets fuck it up!!!"

Here's my nerdy ass (on the right). Say hello if any of you see me

I'll be heading up tonight, leaving Saturday night, then should be back Sunday and again Monday. If you see an AFP student wearing a pink rig and a purple jump suit... that's probably me (wish they had other colors in my size ).

That's awesome... very cool dog. I was just at my friend's father's house in Indianapolis for the USGP recently and he had some new puppies. The result of breeding a rat terrier and some other kind of terrier is: Miniature rotweillers They were about the size of a hand... very cute. Sorry about the picture quality, my phone camera sucks.

What is your favourite part of skydiving?
hexadecimal replied to Orange1's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
The rush of freefall is awesome, but I also love flying my canopy... so both. -
What pranks have you fallen prey to in skydiving?
hexadecimal replied to soarfree's topic in The Bonfire
A good friend of mine actually met her fiance like that at a party That was the first time I saw it executed... I almost pissed myself. The look on her face was great... she was pissed off and trying to fight back laughter at the same time -

I can personally tell you that a Jetta is a very safe car... from experience. If you saw the outside of my Jetta after the crash, you'd think the passengers got killed. If you saw the inside, you wouldn't even have known it was in an accident (besides the broken windows and airbags). Both myself and my passenger walked away with bruises (airbag injuries) after getting hit directly on the passenger's side by a car going 75-80mph (police estimate).

I'm new... so not many memories to choose from yet: So far my favorite memory is from Sunday when I did my first unassisted exit and ended up doing a couple unintentional barrel rolls. I got a bit discouraged and almost had myself thinking it was impossible due to my typical overanalysis of a situation, then went back up and nailed it on the next jump

Always wanted to go... Last year, a friend from work told me that he had recently gone and loved it. He also said that he was going immediately for his second tandem so that he could go through the AFP. When he went for his second tandem, I went with and jumped. Now I'm in the AFP, and he keeps making excuses
