    Good job... looks great. Old P-cars look so much better than the modern ones... besides of course the 993 turbo, my personal favorite. Skydiving took over my life over the summer and as a result, my track car has been neglected for the past 3-4 months

    I actually do hope to make it to Twin Falls next year to take a FJC once I'm more comfortable with my canopy skills... so I guess I'll just have to wait until then to see this thing

    Is there any more info available on the pendulator, and possibly info on how to go about building one? I searched the web and this forum a bit but didn't find much. Sounds very interesting either way.

    I agree, but I think the main reason for bringing games to HD is that prices are constantly falling for HD TVs, and pretty soon they will be the standard. Wouldn't it suck to have to play all your games on a set they weren't compatible with, and settle for them looking like complete shit as a result?

    Well... actually, proper HD games should look better in the same way that proper HD movies look better. That said, putting a game or movie that isn't HD on an HD screen and stretching it to fit the width, will only make it look worse.

    We were playing it on a 70" Sony HDTV LCD most of the time... looked even worse on there than it did on a small CRT in his bedroom.

    Well said, Dave. Nothing pisses me off more than someone on 2 wheels who won't return the wave because I don't ride a Harley. You're also right about most of them being yuppies. There's a reason why HD dealerships have more clothes than motorcycles... Another group guilty of not returning the wave is the "My daddy bought me a Hayabusa for my first motorcycle, and I ride it wearing a t-shirt and shorts" gang.

    You should sell it off on eBay now, and promise your kids an XBox with 10 games (which you could easily pay for with the $2k+ they're fetching on eBay right now) after Christmas.

    Judging by what I saw at my friend's place... I'd say something more like XBox 1.1. It's pretty lame.

    I made the mistake of showing some family members Continuum 2 on Thanksgiving... A couple of them were really interested, and the rest spent the entire time arguing with me that "anyone could strap a parachute to their back and do that (BASE)... as long as they're stupid enough", and "you don't have any control over where you go when you're falling". When I asked them how they thought the jumpers were getting away from the objects in freefall, they said "the wind blows them away". They even went as far as to pretty much call me a moron for skydiving.

    I jumped a rented rig with one of these for a day once... not very confidence inspiring, and not something I want to do again.

    Even after spending >$10k in the past 4 months... skydiving is still cheaper than some of my other hobbies, and it has also kept me away from those hobbies for a while. Therefore, my justification for skydiving is that it saves me money
