hypothetically... where is home?

i was thinking after watching some video about "catch and release" jumps... jumper a throws pilot chute to jumper b, repeat x number of times and then everone waterfalls from top down..etc... what if someone breaks that chain, by missing thier "catch"... the pc inflates like it should and anyjumpers on top of said chain frrefall into deploying canopy(ies)?... just something to think about, before you attempt a simalar jump... or maybe im totaly wrong and missing something..

while packing for my secondjump i aparently scooped up two similar rocks deep into two different cells... as i was finishing up the packjob, and didnt want to ruin said pj looking for a stupd rock, i just packed 'em right in.... fast forward to jump two, a two way both side float, as i open facing partner, i got a nice solid "thock" directly on top of my head... still have the knot.. guess thats my bd souvenier... (sidenote..had i been wearing a helmet,this would have been nothing at all....)

nothing at all, when you present an informed, intelligent opinion.. i was refering more to the unnecessary banter that pops up from time to time, usually from the "me too" individuals..

maybe contact joe jennings at skydive az... there was some snowboad base at the end, and a jump or two where the snowboard was cutaway due to instability... dont know who the jumper was tho...

step one- get informed..by yourself... all the information in the world is available, right now..you just have to be motivated... step two- skydive more... 103 jumps over 5 years says you arent ready... (did you take the lz or the water?... ) step three- continue to get informed...never stop reading... incidents, recomendations..etc... step four- find your own motivation for base... and one better than step five- do this for yourself and noone else... six- nrgb/bd is a misleading jump.... it makes base seem "safe", plenty of room for error, ems on the scene, rescue boats the whole 9... none of this exists on 99% of the jumps out there.. seven- figure out for yourself why you should never jump skydiving gear from an object... ever (what was your setup at bd?) from an outsiders limited perspective...id say your not ready... but what do i know? eight- your most intelligent statement... but dont feel bad..we all do ps..try not to postwhore...

waycool industries makes/sells neoprene hand mounts for around 200$.. i had a friend make one using a wrist brace (from a hospital/physrehab store) and some well thought velcro for about 40 bux.... its up to you really... i think it was way-cool.au or something.. look in "skydiving" magazine...

for anyone who wasnt there unclecharlie flew past the landing area at nrgb, from the platform, and saddled out at the treetops....beyind impressive from the gound...in an acro i believe....

in response to andre, norman or scary are almost always there... perry is here at the holiday inn right now room 346, feel free to stop by... as far as the 14n goes, we shoot one in the studio, 1st generation as well, and it has its fair share (and then some) of bugs and strange little "quips" from time to time, this in a controlled setting so id imagine a freefall application would be a bit tricky...
