Ok I can't take it anymore. I keep hearing what a great place the farm is to jump and after hours partying. Everyone I have talked to who has jumped at the farm has raved about it. They tell me it has a great vibe, very friendly to visiting jumpers and that Hans is a great guy. I have been hearing this for a long time and quite frankly I NEED IN ON THIS! I have been promising myself for the last couple of years that I would go down and check out the farm but it just seemed to have not worked out. Well now I say Fuck it! I am spending the extra bucks and going to the farm and check this scene out. I am thinking next weekend the 31st thru the 2nd. I'm going to play hookie from work. but before i make my travel arrangement i have a couple of questions which will depend on my mode of transportation (driving vs flying) but at this point I will probably drive since it seems to be much cheaper. i was on the web site and my questions are as follows: 1. What are the hours of operation? Are you guys open on Fridays? 2. I see where it says open area for camping. Is there space for my pop up camper and if so is it possible to get electric hookup only? 3. Packers doing sport rigs? (I pay real good) 4. Looking for people who will freefly with me. I have a little over 300 jumps. About 225 of those are sitfly jumps. Working on my head down but it has been a bit of a struggle. Looking for people willing to jump with someone of my limited skill level. can also do a bit of back flying. i would also be interested in maybe doing a sunset high pull with some people and just kind of flying around to end the day. Thanks for your patience in reading this. Any help is greatly appreciated. 5. Can I bring my two well behaved labrador retrievers (one 8 year old black female and one 2 year old chocolate). Both dogs are very friendly and get along well with other dogs. They are use to being around alot of people and the drop zone. Everybody at my home DZ love my dogs. I have heard about the great after hours activities. I hoping I could find people to jump with and party with at the end of the day. My biggest concern is getting up there and end up jumping by myself. I have been to quite a few drop zones and sometimes I can't get the time of day out of prople and other times overwhelmed with people asking me to jump. I hope SNE is the latter. I am going to be up in NE memorial day weekend visiting family. I thought I wou;d try and get some jumps in while I was up there. Thought about trying Lebanon. I have heard some good things about them and they got an extensive website. Looks like they do alot of freeflying up there. Opinions? Looking to make some free fly jumps but hopefully not by myself. Wow the B's come back! 7th game at home. The looked like crap earlier in the series but it appears to be a case of the cream rising to the top. Would love to see a Chicago & Boston Final. It would be cool to see 2 of the original 6 play for the stanley cup and plus both teams haven't been very good for quite awhile. hey everyone! I just made last plans to go north for the weekend. I am going up on Saturday morning and trying to find out who is going to be open on Sunday and perhaps Monday. If anybody has any suggestions I would appreciate it. I'm thinking either Orange or Peperell. I free fly (sit mostly, still trying to get on my head). If anyone wants to hook up and jump that would be really cool. My sit is good and stable move around the sky a bit I don't do anything stupid. So, if you don't mind jumping with someone who can only sit ( I can do head down exits but I can't hold it) then hit me up. I plan on rolling into the DZ around 10:30am on Sunday and would like to jump on Monday if anything is open and if anyone is around to jump with.
