    One thing I really like in this sport is that I have the sense of "having control" over every aspect of what I do... I personally would hate to just be a passenger, ... Especially if the canopy is taking me somewhere I dont wanna go (do to a long spot that my main / ram air reserve could have covered or whatever)..     I do believe that is the way to do it... That's how I grew up, my mother was always there.. I never had to goto daycare or anything like that... Someday I hope that I can provide that for my family, if the significant other also wants that style of life. Even if I cant get all of my "toys". FGF #??? I miss the sky...     I do see alot of cases that spouses *HAVE* to work, or the family just doesnt eat.... If you have a family, that is just one of those things you have to accept now days MAY be a requirement, just to survive. As much as I wish it wasnt so, it just is. FGF #??? I miss the sky...     I'm never going to say that is right, however I'm not gonna sit here and protest such a thing either... Seriously, how does that really effect your life... I'm not just taking a stand on this issue, but I really believe that people should spend more time with their own lives rather than judging other peoples lives all the time...     HEY NOW!!! Just cause some women do that to their husbands, doesn't mean all of us women will be that way Ok, most of them do... All women have issues of some kind, from what I've seen so far, and it's usually the guys fault (which is where they try to change the guy so that we fit in with their issues.) FGF #???     well, every time mine turned itself off, it screwed up the date and time.... EVERY TIME... So I only speak from personal experience with my protrack But, now its always on, I use a neptune for logging now, so I never pull it out of my helmet...     and I didnt even you you could manually switch it off... I set mine to stay on ALL THE TIME so it would stop loosing track of the date and time... It's lasted a long time, it doesnt just burn through tons of batteries or anything.. FGF #??? I miss the sky...     I agree, with you and the post above mine; I think people SHOULD wait to have kids until being married for a little bit, that's just my preference

    Nate what are you doing in bonfire? I agree with you; however, I don't need to make a lot of $$ on my own before I get married; if I can live on my own, that's good enough. I don't have to be rich No, you dont have to be rich... But I think everyone should be able to take care of themselves prior to obligating to take care of a family, whether your role is going to be stay at home or not. And I do visit the bonfire occasionally, I just dont read most of the threads. FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.

    I believe that both parties should be financially stable. I believe that both parties should work, until such time that the wife becomes with child... After this point, it should have already been planned out within that new family how it was going to be handled... After a child is in the picture, I see no problem with "stay at home parent", infact I prefer that... But until that point, WORK. IMO. FGF #??? I miss the sky...     Sounds like proper training is the answer for this does it not? Seriously, to break a leg / ankle / get fractures / die on a square canopy, you have to have screwed up somewhere.. Seems to me that you can break your leg / ankle on a round doing everything right, cuz the canopy just drops you hard, period. FGF #??? I miss the sky...
