  3. Perspective is Everything One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?" "It was great, Dad." "Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked. "Oh yeah," said the son. "So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father. The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them." The boy's father was speechless. Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are." Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.
  4. Soooooooooooooooooooooooo many good ones but I must agree that SOAP was hilarious and remains a favorite oldie but goodie to me. Seinfeld also...
  5. A while back, and I do mean a long while...there was a brand of p'nut butter marketed that had bacon bits in it. P'nut butter and bacon and pastrami is also a sandwich that can be found at the Stage Deli in NY that different celebrities have sandwiches named after and contain their choice of ingredients. Guess one would have to actually try it and see?!

  10. Looking for an artist that can help with a special event t-shirt design concept, want something unique that will make this a real must have! Anxious to have something done. Thanks!
  11. Exactly! We generally do look for value and additional price savings.... I had a recent conversation with Mark Gregory who confirmed that he is still our contact for Lightnings at the World Team /Dealer price. If you'd like, I can email you his contact information and you can get going on an order!
  12. How cool! Sweet of you to share it honey! xoxo
  13. I love the results from the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze, I have a serious allergy to several molds that are found in the Carolinas that trigger severe asthma attacks. In addition to having 1 LG, 1 Compact and 1 Bathroon/Bedroom unit we change our AC/Heat unit filters once every 4 weeks with a high quality HEPA filter. I swear by them and would buy more.
  14. We have the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze in different parts of the house. I have awful allergies and asthma and they really do work so well! A shopping tip --Look on EBay as Sherper Image sells their open box items that people ordered and returned saying they didn't like it or just never used it at all. They have a couple levels they sell on that give either the full 5 yr warranty or a lesser timeframe if the unit was used at all. I got one as a gift before buying the next one and when it started to act up it was promptly replaced by Sharper Image! Other sale offers include buying one at full price and getting the 2nd one at half off, directly through Sharper Image. They often also include the small wall outlet version (bathroom or small bedroom) for free. Happy Shopping!

Oh yeah baby...she is a budding field agent if I ever saw one! That was some cool scene... HUGE 24 fan...!!
  17. Yes, your concern is valid. EBay /PayPal / Online Bank Accts have all been "spoofed" at one time or another. EBay does not send emails for validation purposes that read that way, nor do MANY other companies. While working for a bank /credit card issuer we had a few times that huge blocks of customers were sent those and many responded due to how realistic and convincing the logo appeared to them, etc. Best way to avoid identity theft is to question it immediately and above all else do not provide any response or information.
  18. Cool.... D. Magical Eliz Ice

Hope you get to go see him Travis, is there anything the DZ.com group can do to help make that happen? Start up a plane ticket fund maybe? Hugs, Friendship & Prayers from both of us. xoxo Elizabeth & Frank
