My cat scratched up my left eye when I was 9. My dad took me to the emergency room. It was eleven at night. Our company in the waiting area was a knifing victim. To this day I can't stand the idea of eyeballs being handled. The sight of someone fucking with his contact makes me drop to the floor and assume a fetal position. Otherwise, I've been pretty lucky as far as accidents go. Knock wood. Skydiving is for cool people only

At Skydive Dallas, my first dz, I think they're $20 now. At San Marcos, they're $18 to 14Kish in the otter, but they have had two $12/jump weekends in the last month or so. Also this weekend, if you bring a tandem out, you get $10 jumps all day. To me, $20 is a lot. It's certainly the most I'd pay without inner resentment for now. Skydiving is for cool people only

Sure, give it a whirl...it might broaden your horizons quite a bit to have to entertain yourself without the booze. I remember when I made a conscious post-college effort to cut down on my drinking, and at first I was honestly at a loss for what to do at night.
