  1. Grew up on the Outer Banks of NC and surfing was pretty much a way of life. I agree with Surfline comment. Man I wish that was around 15 years ago when I was going every morning and every evening. I still go on there to check the weather. During all those hurricanes, their coverage (HurricaneTrak) was better than Weather.com. Those guys really know to predict where the storms are going and the resulting waves. I guess I would be good at it too, if my lively hood depended on it. Have fun in Barbados, and don't get too cooked.
  2. I think I finally get where you guys are coming from. Its the lack of sauce. You see the "normal" flavored wings, (there is like 7 levels of hotness) are pretty normal, but the Hot and higher levels are to die for. Its all in the sauce. You don't even need ranch or blue cheese if you get the "Hot" ones.
  3. Ah....yes completely!!!! The wings are horrible and the blue cheese.....out of a packet....come on. Maybe you should try another location. I have actually been to Hooter's in Florida, Texas, Maryland, and they all have been great. I think it must be your particular franchise.
  4. W T F?????? Dude are you serious? I guess different strokes for different folkes?!#$
  5. Ever since the lawsuit over the guys trying to work there, a couple of years back, I have noticed a different kind of Hooters girl. But thats cool, they don't all have to look like some calendar girl. It actually makes it more realistic anyway like normal girls and all. I'm not worried about that anyway, I'm cool long as they keep bringing them wings and the pitchers.
  6. I don't know man, mine just asked if we were going to the strip club to get some lap dances. Still have to get eat don't ya?
  7. My wife called me just as I was getting off work today and uttered my four most favorite words out of her mouth, "I'm craving Hooter's wings." Who else has a killer chick that they would never ever ever trade in? Ps. I'm sitting here full of wings, and can hardly type.
  8. No it's not, in fact it is frowned apon. Who did you see with an animated gif? Tell us, we have ways of making you talk Ok maybe, no theres no way I would ever get another beer.
  9. I've noticed some new avatars with .gif files that are animated. Is this a new feature? I didn't see anything about it in the list of new features and the "edit profile" page still says that you only accept .jpg's.
  10. Have you noticed which states are being punished with natural disasters (aka "Acts of God")? True,
  11. Bingo. Tested that theory. Twice... I respectfully disagree. I thing Orchid is right above. In every case that I've been closely involved in, ie: family, close friends, etc. I saw someone quit. What I mean is that somewhere, sometime, someone quit, trying, loving, committing, on and on and on. There is always a defining moment when the two ships start their turn away from each other. I'm not saying that it couldn't be simultaneous or something that either one could stop, I have just seen someone quit in whatever way. If I love my wife, I won't cheat. If I love my wife, I will always consider her feelings before my own, etc.... Show me a divorce and I'll show you a relationship, where somewhere, one of the two or both stopped trying, and that my friends is the difference. I don't think divorce is below me, I just know that I will never stop trying and I hope my wife won't either. If she does, then I will retract this post.
  12. The Kurds have also asked for the worlds help, yet they are still the largest minorty without a homeland. The US supports state terrorism against the Kurds by the Turkish government. Are you so naive that you think what you are doing is just and right? Its time to wake up and read your Chomsky. The fact of the matter is that foreign diplomacy is a dance. Looking at history, we have supported one and then supported the other one (Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, etc...). We have different administrations who have different agendas. We have a new election every four year, which is about how long it takes to start seeing results for either way of doing things. We have half of all Americans disagreeing with the other half. We have most of people outside of America disagreeing with America. Kinda makes my head hurt. I think the answer does lie in America sticking to a path, no matter what your party membership card is stamped. I think the poster up above who referred to getting us off foreign oil was right. The only problem is that environmentalists won't let us drill Alaska. Maybe solar, hydrogen fuel cells are the way to go. Then these radicals in oil rich countries wouldn't have an operating budget due to the lack of need for oil. Then we could get out and let um have at each other. I think it kinda sucks being the big kid on the block. Too much responsibility. BTW its so funny how looking at a users profile and the area they live in, is so accurate in how they post. Red states red, blue states blue. I just looked at this thread and its something like 90% accurate. I would have thought there would be a lot of tranplants and such, go figure. Can't we all just get along????
  13. Its all a lie to be married to the "wrong" person. The "right" person will complete you. I wouldn't trade it no matter how much she pisses me off sometimes.
  14. You know the stupidest thing, I actually clicked it.
  15. While never one to complain about looking at some of these things, I'm getting bored. Is it just me?
  16. I can honestly say, those pics were not what I thought I was getting when I read the title of this thread.
  17. And if all this wasn't enough, today they enforced some new rule that ALL shoes need to come off to go through the metal detectors. I work at IAH and have to go through multiple times a day and this truly sucked today. A while back I even bought a "airport safe" pair of shoes to circumvent this prob. They were being marketed as such (no steel shanks). I guess all the shoe stores can eliminate that gimick now.
  18. Exactly. It usually only works when you send an internal email on the same exchange server. However, if they read the original email before the click on the "recall" email, they can read the first. Exactly, which is why I usally send another email with the same subject line 'real' quick. They are more likely to go straight to the 'new' message and just delete the older one. Noone has that much time to waste on trying to figure out who sent the wrong attachment or who did which typo or whatever.
  19. So funny. I was just reading a book by Dick Marcinko, the ex-Navy Seal and this is what he said. "My friends, there is a God. And so far as I am concerned , He is the God of War. He is the fearsome, Unnamable Name of the Old Testament, who wreaks vengeance on profaners and sinners and his enemies and slays them all--every single f**king one. That's my kind of God." To each their own, I guess.
  20. I thought Roadrunner was the fastest bird. Meep Meep.
  21. Without getting into a discussion about validity, etc., can you include the text that reveals the above?
