    Oh ya! there will be a chopper there that weekend for those of you that have not done a chopper jump or just want to do another one. Its a Shwitzer kinda small but still a chopper and a hoot

    The Otter is still here for now, however we have purchased a grand caravan, with the big engine. We feel that this will help keep the jumping to a reasonable cost and much more cost effective maintenance program for us (half the Fuel & Engine maintenance) and with the ever aging Otter fleet (30 to 40 years old) and the rising cost of fuel we think this is way to go

    Skydive San Marcos is looking for a variety of teams to sponsor for the up coming TSL season. SSMI is the home of the current collegian freefly Champions recent Four Way state champions and we will be utilizing a Super Otter and or a Grand Caravan. if you think you have what it takes in Four way and or freeflying drop us a line and lets talk.

    SSM open @ 9:00am however there are rarely enough people to put the plane in the air till noon on fridays and even on Sat, Sunday no body shows up til 11:00

    Thats right folks. Skydive San Marcos has a Super Otter Again and is putting a really great schedule of events together. Free fly festival. Pond Swooping Big way stuff and a plethora of other neat stufffffffff. So come on out

    Houston skydiving Center will be reeicving a grand Caravan for at least the Winter and Spring. As you may probably know we have been open (kinda) for several months. The plan was to put a King Air there full time after we received our Otter. Wellll! thats changed a little, For those of you that haven't been there since the re-opening its much the same but spiffed up a little great hanger, huge landing area, paved 5500 runway not to mention the city has built us a new paved parking area and paved the roads back to our hanger. We will be flying the GC the week of Nov,14 oh ya! Did I mention $15.00 to 13500 AGL ...more later Thanks and Blue Skies The Staff

    As most of you already know SSMI sustained a total loss of our King Air on the 17th, however life goes on. For the next two weeks Skydive Dallas will be sending us there Caravan until our Otter gets here. we are expecting a great turn out for jumping and the Halloween Party, so be there with bells on or whatever you choose Thanks and Blue Skies The Staff

    SSMI will be taking delivery of a grand Caravan in a couple of weeks, however its base of operation will be @ Houston Skydiving Center @ Wharton Regional Airport. SSMI will bringing there very own Super Otter to the San Marcos operation. Looking forward to seeing every body @ both places The Staff

    On behalf of Deb and myself, the staff and management, and all of the jumpers at Skydive San Marcos want to thank Skydive Dallas for sending us there Caravan for the weekend. We certainly tip our hats (and beers on the last load) for coming through and helping us with our needs. As most of you already know, we lost our King Air on Friday afternoon, and by sunset that same day we had a call from Skydive Dallas to say there Caravan would be there by 8:30 Saturday morning. Well, Saturday morning, the Caravan arrived, we all met Eddie the pilot, and the games began. We do want to aploligize that Eddie did not get any breaks that day, we kept him feed, plenty of water, and well, bathroom breaks??? Sorry dude. Anyway, at the end of the weekend, 29 loads!!! Skydive Dallas, you guys ROCK, you have an awesome aircraft ( our jumpers are still talking about it ) and Eddie, what can we say? WE LOVE YOU MAN!!!!!! Kuddos, Kuddos, Kuddos!!!!!
