Blevins draws fire like a venom magnet. How could one harness that ability? Could he be towed as a decoy in some military application? No matter what he says or does he gets slammed, trashed, and demonized instantly. It's 100% predictable. I disagree with a lot of his theories, but he doesnt raise my blood pressure. Perhaps I am dense or insensitive. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Jo wrote: I like vinyl records Jo. It goes with my acceptance of entropy. The occasional scratches and clicks actually sooth me. The cold harsh perfection of a flawless CD recording just doesnt do much for my mood. Annie Lennox isn't perfect so why should she sound that way? Neil Young without a few scratches is just pretentious and fake. John Coltrane needs the noise too. Snowmman is probably already writing the sound card code to make a CD sound exactly like a vinyl LP. It will be a selectable feature on your next Blue Ray player. Thrift stores are awash in discarded turntables. I bought a very high quality one with an expensive cartridge in perfect condition for $25. You just have to get there before the turntable hoarders do. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Damn it Farflung, now you have made me so wary of gas stations that I may have to trade in my 12 year old gas eater for a pure electric vehicle. Only I will touch the recharge hardware which will be bathed in powerful UV light during the dormant periods. This will severly limit my roving radius, but judging by your annual mileage you dont get around much and you are still pegging the hunky meter. I'll look to you for tips on how to be noticed and adored within a small circle of opportunity and influence. Remember those HF calls that used to be directed at your aircraft? "Skyking, Skyking, do not answer. Papa Tango Three. Time Three Five. Authentication Whiskey November. I say again; Skyking, Skyking, do not answer. Papa Tango Three. Time Three Five. Authentication Whiskey November." I would have expected you to rail against the "do not answer" command and shoot back a rebelious reply. Not that anyone was listening, but just to assert your independence from SAC mind control. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Robert, You have my permission to use anything I've posted and my encouragement to ignore all the threats from others. Your compilation, if made freely accessible, would be helpful. I'd be grateful, not spiteful. Litigation over minor s**t is soooooo pointless. Two sure fire ways to burn up lots of money are to own an airplane or to sue someone over a minor personal beef. You'll find plenty of lawyers who will tell you the opposite. They are taking delivery on a new Porsche soon and would love to have its purchase funded by you. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Farflung wrote: I had you pegged for Major T.J. "King" Kong in Dr. Strangelove. Now with this sanitation obsession you are sounding more like Gen. Jack D. Ripper. If it doesnt kill you it will build up your immune system. For an extreme example look up phage therapy Farflung. They harvest this medicine from fetid sewage ponds and other places that would upset you. from Wikipedia: Phage therapy is the therapeutic use of bacteriophages to treat pathogenic bacterial infections. Although extensively used and developed mainly in former Soviet Union countries for about 90 years, this method of therapy is still being tested elsewhere for treatment of a variety of bacterial and poly-microbial biofilm infections, and has not yet been approved in countries other than Georgia. Phage therapy has many potential applications in human medicine as well as dentistry, veterinary science, and agriculture.[1] If the target host of a phage therapy treatment is not an animal the term "biocontrol" (as in phage-mediated biocontrol of bacteria) is usually employed, rather than "phage therapy". Bacteriophages are much more specific than more common drugs, so they can hypothetically be chosen to be indirectly harmless not only to the host organism (human, animal, or plant), but also to other beneficial bacteria, such as gut flora, reducing the chances of opportunistic infections. They would have a high therapeutic index, that is, phage therapy would be expected to give rise to few if any side effects, as opposed to drugs, and would not stress the liver.[citation needed] Because phages replicate in vivo, a smaller effective dose can be used. On the other hand, this specificity is also a disadvantage: a phage will only kill a bacterium if it is a match to the specific strain. Consequently phage mixtures are often applied to improve the chances of success, or samples can be taken and an appropriate phage identified and grown. Phages are currently being used therapeutically to treat bacterial infections that do not respond to conventional antibiotics, particularly in the country of Georgia.[2][3][4] They tend to be more successful than antibiotics where there is a biofilm covered by a polysaccharide layer, which antibiotics typically cannot penetrate.[5] In the West, no therapies are currently authorized for use on humans, although phages for killing food poisoning bacteria (Listeria) are now in use.[6] It apparently works really well, but the FDA wont allow it in the USA. Too bad our new DBC candidate has a good alibi (skiing in the Alps with his daughter). He is the best sketch match so far. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Jo, Really, this is paranoid thinking. The FBI hierarchy doesn't know or care how residential real estate commissions are earned, split etc. When you post stuff like this it undermines your objectivity and credibility. Stick to the facts. Forget speculation about FBI conspiracies. Put Duane on the plane and you will find a very receptive FBI. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

You do need an aviation savvy co-author or editor Robert. Without one you'll make more technical gaffes. I don't have any problem with you trying to pen a screenplay. Go for it. I'll be really surprised if anybody makes serious money on any endeavor related to Norjack short of an autobiography by Cooper himself. It's just not a lucrative thing for third parties. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

SSSSsssHHHHHhhhh! You will wake up Knoss - Whisperrrr when you say that. That is a bad M Word. Funny. I had almost forgot about him. Snow and Bruce know quite a it about the M program. I've always wondered how the CIA handled the recruitment and paperwork for hiring prostitutes for the M program. Elliott Spitzer might still have a political career had he employed similar methods. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Funny how all this stuff intersects. Sheridan Peterson undoubtedly has some strong opinions about the Pioenix program, having been a refugee advisor and witnessing atrocities in Viet Nam committed in the quest to find VC among the peasants in the south. Col Waite, at least in that one photo, sure looks like the DBC FBI sketch, but that proves little. Nice to know folks like Pat71 are still looking for new suspects. We get pretty inbred here. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Snowmman, the ever vigilant and helpful person that he is, found this stuff which Bruce will take immediate interest in. Does it prove any link between MK Ultra and DBC? No, not at all, but it makes you wonder about how far this diabolical CIA program reached. I never would have suspected a link to Bulger. It's time to drop the ban on Snowmman Quade. Give him a probationary period and see what happens. http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/06/27/whitey.bulger.crimes/index.html "Bulger, meanwhile, had learned to work the system while he was in federal prison for bank robbery. He studied military history and shaved years off a bank-robbery sentence by taking LSD for CIA-sponsored mind control experiments," more detail here http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/gangsters_outlaws/mob_bosses/james_whitey_bulger/2.html "When Alcatraz was shut down in 1963, Bulger was sent to Leavenworth Prison in Kansas, where he volunteered to take LSD as part of a CIA-sponsored experiment called MK-Ultra. He was paroled in 1965 after serving nine years." He hooked up with the Winter Hill Gang in Boston when he was released. 18 inmates were part of Dr. Carl Pfeiffer's program. Funded by Coca Cola. Was supposed to be finding a cure for schizophrenia, but was really run by CIA, which was looking for a truth serum. For 18 months, he was given LSD in a needle or as liquid. 20 year sentence. Did nine. Probably would have only done 12 without the volunteering. Probably didn't know it was LSD at the time? Wonder if some FBI agents are losing sleep over Bulgers arrest.? He definitely corrupted one FBI agent and claims to have had others working for him. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Robert, Please ask Tom K the following: Do you share the FBIs certainty that the tie was Cooper's? If so why? Has your evidence examination pointed towards any particular suspect? Georger, The mountains were really lit up Sunday night after a day of 50+ MPH winds up there. However, yesterday and last night the winds calmned down. The wind forecast for the next two days is only 5 to 10 MPH. Although there was still a lot of smoke in the mountains last night, I could only see two or three areas burning. One of those areas was at the base of the mountains and I think it was a controlled burn as the firefighters tried to "connect" the areas that were burned Sunday, which was a very interesting day here, with areas that were burned by the Fort Huachuca fires on Friday, another very interesting day. There are still some active fires going on this morning on both the notheast and southwest sides of the mountains. But if the winds forecast is correct, the firefighters should be able to make a lot of progress today and tomorrow. Some of the mandatory evacuation areas have been downgraded to pre-evacuation areas. As one whose own neighborhood was probably saved by the firefighters on Friday, I can only say that these guys and gals are doing an excellent job under extremely difficult circumstances. Robert Nicholson Thanks for the update Robert. I have a relative who is a wilderness firefighter assigned to this fire. I'll pass on the compliment. The conditions are really tough for the firefighters and they will appreciate your gratitude Robert. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

I once opined that nobody in their right mind would be relying on a 1946 surplus canopy in 1971. Well, some skydivers aren't in their right mind. Read this thread. Farflungs link to BFRO was illuminating. I'd love to think that giant crypto hominids roamed the US forests, but how can people really believe in Bigfoot when not one body or skeleton has ever been found? The BF crowd has very strict standards for judging the credibility of those who report encounters: "Credibility is no problem - all location/landmark info has been verifiable, and he is a local businessman with high visability". We on the forum should be equally rigorous. Was Janet a businessperson with "high visibility"? If she was then back off on the attacks. The equating of businessperson and credible endures. It's kind of quaint. Millikin, Madoff, Sayers, and their ilk haven't popped the illusion balloon. That's darn good Bodice Ripper writing Farflung. Is there any literary style that you cannot mock? Can you do a good Hemingway And did you ever answer my question about what nickname was painted on your flight helmet? Quade still reads this. He doesnt see a current need to intervene in the trivial affairs of a lesser species, but I can feel "the Force". I renew my plea for him to lift or mitigate the Snowmman permaban. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

What about the California Parachute Club? http://www.crocuta.com/CPC/index.html It no longer has a club DZ at Livermore CA but I think a few old timers like Bill Stanley and Kent Walker keep the club alive and jump at Lodi. I made my first parachute jump at the Cal Club DZ in 1968 out of Perry Stevens' Aeronca Sedan, appropriately called "The Rat". It was a real pleasure to run into a bunch of the old Cal Club jumpers at WFFC in Quincy and Rantoul. Bill Stanley and Alan Silver were there and had been my jumpmasters at Livermore when I was a student. The Cal Club was founded in founded in 1956 by Deke Sonnichsen. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Blevins wrote: I too think it's a waste of time to pursue further tests on the Amboy canopy but Blevins has a point. It would be very easy to do and would take Cossey out of the proof loop. I can't fault Blevins for seeking verification. Cossey has been known to "play" with people regarding Norjack, but here he'd have every reason including financial gain to ID the canopy as one given to DBC if it was. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. ...you say that as though it's a bad thing?? Farflung is correct, but it begs the question of evolutionary history. Why has this trait evolved? What's the reproductive advantage? It results in less sex so I am puzzled. Men, as time passes, tend to forget every adverse or unpleasant marital encounter. Women have a non volatile memory spec that is the envy of chip designers. There must be a reason that this distinction evolved. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
