  1. Jo, Seriously, if he doesn't recall saying it and has no reason to lie, might YOU have an inaccurate memory of the alleged statement? How can you rule out that possibility? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  2. Jo, I dont recall the missing item inquiry from a passenger's family member you are referring to. I am not ignoring it, I just have no info. Where do you recall seeing info about this inquiry? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  3. Very unlikely distribution, statistically speaking. Right Orange? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  4. "377 - where's my drink!!!!!" (aside) Tina, a double Bourbon for Mr. Smith please. (aloud) Sorry Bruce, coming right up, kinda busy tonight and the waitress is brand new, . 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  5. Wrong G, I am quite interested. I think you have made some intriguing posts about the money find and I'd like to see a dialogue with you and Safe and Sluggo right here. Go UNI Panthers!!! I am lined up with you 100% on this one Georger. Underdog small town teams touch my heart. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  6. I am forced to guess. Is Jo going to try to contact Tina Mucklow? Might as well tell us what you are contemplating Jo and get everyones opinion. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  7. Jo says: "moves" "drops" Translation please Jo? I am thinking about doing some stuff about something that may be related to something else. Can you see yourself in this mirror Jo? Oh, please put Duane in a chute if you have a few spare moments. On a lighter note, what was it like talking to Ckret Jo? I miss him and I miss Snowmman. I wish both of them could return. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  8. Indeed Orange. I mean when these folks walk down a sidewalk soiled by dog poop, do they stop and complain about every pile? It's so much easier to just keep walking and avoid the messy spots. As long as there is more bare concrete than poop, it's "mostly good". 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  9. You forgot to put a check box for : "the FBI said I had to put him on the plane" which is Jo's stock evasive answer to all who ask for specificity. Who is this guy Frank Scozzari Sluggo? Is he writing a Cooper book or screenplay? I dont understand why people get so worked up about who posts what here. It is so frigging easy to skip posts that you find uninteresting or irrelevant. Still feeling the high from last Saturday's skydiving. I just love this sport. It's just as thrilling as it was 42 years ago and a lot safer than it was back in the day when C9s shared the skies with Pteradactyls. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 10. This guy? Frank Scozzari lives in Nipomo, CA, a small town on the central coast. He is an avid traveler, and recently returned from another trip to Africa where climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. His short stories have appeared in various literary magazines including The South Dakota Review, Spindrift, The Licking River Review, Reed Magazine, Pangolin Papers, Limestone: A Literary Journal, Reader's Break Short Story Anthology, and others. He also wrote a screenplay The Wind Guardian and has a patent on handles for a body board used in wave surfing. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 11. The ever patient Ckret still takes calls from Jo. You just have to admire that. I certainly do. Jo, I hope you understand that the above quote tells us absolutely nothing of substance. Sometimes I wonder if you are aware of how little relevant information you convey in your evasive posts. So you are planning to make some kind of "move" and Carr said you "might get into trouble" if you proceeded. Yawwwwnnnn.... Wake me up when you have some relevant information Jo. You feel a need to be secretive but also a need to post. The two dont combine well for forum readers. Still, I am glad you are well enough to vigorously pursue your "Duane was Cooper" quest, however ill advised and unproductive it may be. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 12. I've always wondered if Cooper had help on the ground and used CB or some other kind of radio to coordinate a pickup. Unlikely but thought provoking. Two days ago I jumped from 18000 ft carrying a low power VHF handy talkie (1 watt VHF). I freefell down to 15,000 to get into thicker air (more O2) and opened. I was able to easily comunicate with others up to 107 miles away. Even at 6000 ft I was chatting with people 30 miles away. It doesn't prove anything, but if Cooper hid a $35 1971 CB walkie talkie and fired it up after landing he could easily have talked to an accomplice ten miles away sited on a peak. If he could see the peak he could reach it with a cheap radio. The SOG jumpers in Nam used small radios to chat with each other and with pickup helos. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 13. Jo, We get it. You have one version and Jerry has another. Who cares? None of this squabbling about memory accuracy and personal truthfulness proves anything about Cooper.Enough. Why post so much about trivial irrelevant stuff like this and little to nothing in support of your big claims about Duane being Ranger trained, a parachutist, and actually being Dan Cooper? Does it really matter about where you turned off Hwy 14? No matter where Duane took you, nothing about that trip proves he was Cooper. He may have told you he was Cooper, took you to places he said Cooper had been, but NONE of that proves he was Cooper or connected with him in any way. Put Duane in a chute and I'll snap to attention. This other stuff really does not matter to anyone but you and Jerry. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 14. Sluggo, How would the science team solve the case with more funding? They might find more Cooper money at Tena Bar or perhaps in other dredge spoils but how would that ID Cooper? Unless you find his body or unopened rig how do you know his fate much less his ID? Thanks for the interesting post. As things develop tell us what you can. What's you opinion about Ted Braden? Viable suspect? Sheridan Peterson? It's pure speculation but so much about the aviation part of Norjack (727 jumps, rainy night HAHOs, etc) ties back to SE Asia mil and spook ops in the 60s. I keep wondering about a link. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  15. I agree Sluggo. Let's just take it as a given that Jo and Jerry will forever disagree about what happened during Jo's WA visit and move on. It doesn't require that either stop posting, it just requires that they stop posting about that subject which has been thoroughly aired and repeated. Please Jo and Jerry, let's take that dispute to PMs or emails. OK? Post about something besides that visit. Let's focus on new developments and info. People hint that things are happening regarding Norjack but don't specify what they are. Post something here Sluggo and let's see if we can get out of Jerry Springer mode. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  16. Thanks for checking up on her Jerry. Glad Jo is OK. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  17. Jo will write thousands of words fighting with Jerry about which places she did or did not visit on her WA trip, but has nothing to say when asked to simply prove her claim that Duane was a trained parachutist. Her evasive answer is baloney: "the FBI said I have to put him on the plane." I try to be respectful with Jo but that doesn't require that I accept her dodges and decline to challenge them. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 18. OK, then figure it out and present it Jo. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  19. Oh really? What do you have? A poofed airport parking ticket and a poofed airline ticket? A prayer book with no provable connection to Tina Mucklow? Time spend in WA? Anything more? Why don't you just post what you have? An extraordinary claim without proof is just a tease. Poof is not proof. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 20. It's actually been reasonably civil lately. You should have seen it way back when. Lively disputes about who is telling the truth is tolerable. Nobody has to read this forum, it takes positive action to access it. If it offends you, simply ignore it. Doing some jumps from 18,000 with sweeping ocean views Saturday! Only $30. How have we managed to keep jumping so cheap? They should have put jumpers in charge of health care. Two weeks of training and you could be a licensed medical technician. Everybody signs waivers. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  21. Jo, Put Duane in a chute, not a bar, or a camp or a prison. Duane may have spent a lot of time in the area of interest, but that proves nothing. You claim Duane has parachuted. PROVE IT. I dont care how well Duane sang or what Jerry said to you in WA or which roads or bodies of water you looked at. It is irrelevant that Jerry or the FBI allegedly lied to you, none of that proves anything about Duane being Cooper. PUT DUANE IN A CHUTE or stop claiming that you can. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  22. Glad you've kept your sense of humor though all this Jo.
  23. Good for you Jerry. It must have been tempting to jump to conclusions but you stayed rational. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  24. Twardo is right, but lets not start threatening lawsuits. Why make lawyers rich over petty squabbles? Electronic privacy is becoming a thing of the past, get used to it. Jumping next Saturday down the coast a bit, 18,000 ft with spectacular ocean views for $30, such a deal!!! 13,500 ft is still $17 at my local DZ. You gotta love this sport. Sky high dirt cheap. Sounds like a drug motto doesnt it? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  25. Not advisable, rough as hell on yer nipples!...just sayin' Good one Twardo. Welcome back. Airshow season's coming. Gonna do any in Northern CA this year? It would be fun to see you, but I'll be in the crowd. I don't have a PRO rating so no demos for me. You can have the concrete all to yourself. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver.
