  2. Bruce wrote: I have a sneaking suspicion that the butts are not lost and never were. Just a hunch, but a hunch based on direct experience with FBI evidence handling in far less important criminal cases. They know the consequences of losing or even just mishandling potentially exculpatory physical evidence in criminal cases: DISMISSAL. They take considerable care not to give a free pass to a defendant. Princes and heroes... nice to be in such illustrious company. Anybody can be a hero. All they need to claim the title is an admirer who thinks they deserve it. Take Duane for example... 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

  6. Jo wrote: You and BK sure think so, in spite of Z E R O evidence proving your contention. It's all hearsay, speculation and "poofed" physical evidence. Not one single piece of probative unambiguous physical evidence has been presented for examination. NWA ticket? Poof. Parachute hardware? Poof. Twenties? Poof. Parking ticket? Poof. Too many treat the FBI sketches as if they were photographs of Cooper. I have seen sooooooo many instances where composite drawings put together by police from interviews with victims and witnesses turn out to look nothing like the real perpetrator. READ THIS: http://www.innocenceproject.org/files/imported/eyewitness_id_report-4.pdf Duane was an interesting character, I will certainly concede that point. I have seen NOTHING, however, which indicates that he was a participant in NORJACK. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

  8. Blevins wrote If the red tape allegedly used on the "bomb" sticks was seen and the FBI recorded it in a witness interview, but did not publicize it, then you may have a point Robert. I'd expect wrapped red tape would look phony and defeat the purpose of the fake bomb. You'd see the overlapped lines of tape. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 10. Blevins wrote Hell, why buy piecemeal parts when you can get an entire 727-100? Check out the DELUXE interior! http://www.aso.com/listings/spec/ViewAd.aspx?id=150599&listingType=true&IsInternal=True&pagingNo=1&searchId=16451580&dealerid= Asking $700,000. Pretty low airframe time for an airliner (35,399 TT). Ad doesn't say how many hours until a "C Check" is due. That could cost a huge amount of money, well into six figures. Wonder if Donald Trump still uses a 727 as his biz jet? If Bruce would just perfect his levitation skills he wouldn't need airplanes for air travel, or skydiving for that matter. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 11. I now have a genuine 727 door status warning panel. It will be part of my Cooper shrine which includes a Cooper Twenty and a Seafirst money bag. I am wiring it up to make the airstair door warning light illuminate randomly. Well, semi randomly, to be precise. 28 VDC, a 74121 IC, a light driver transistor and something that changes up the RC time constant for the one shot. Snowmman could make something far more elegant, like tieing the airstair door light trigger to forum posts by Jo that claim Duane was Cooper. Man is the panel beat up. Scratches, multiple sloppy repaints, really trashed. Hard to imagine so much abuse in a cockpit environment. Ex Continental Airlines according to stickers. I can imagine an FE who is pissed cause he is riding side saddle instead of left seat, pissed that he is still in a 727 when the guys with more seniority are in more modern wide-body acft, so he just doesn't give a damn. Who cares if the panel gets scratched and gouged? Snowmman, the master of all things technical, gave me a helpful map of which light illuminates for which function. Legends on the light covers are obscured when not backlit. Snowmman could probably trace the SN and tell me if Airtwardo's lovely wife was ever in command of a Continental 727 that contained this particular panel. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 12. Blevins opined Wrong Robert. Doe warrants have been litigated in the appellate courts and found to be legal. I agree with your logic though. It was unequal treatment. Prosecuting Cooper now, in the absence of unambiguous evidence of guilt such as fingerprints that were found on the plane and linked to the skyjacker would be VERY difficult given the FBI's loss of the most probative physical evidence: Cooper's cigarette butts. They are potential exculpatory evidence and their loss would support a VERY strong motion to dismiss based on spoliation of material evidence. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 13. Well, I met one of the BAD apples & he lied. He is quilty of medicare fraud. Then he covers his ass - and also rewriting the medical report to include information not known to him at the time of the incident. He ended up screwing himself....after the Attorney Generals office got wind of it. Nice to have a former governor as a friend & relatives & an old friend who are retired attorneys. We had a governor in our family, but that goes way back - the individual has been deceased for yrs. I believe she was the 1st female governor. My father had her autographed photo...and I often wonder if my brother still has it. It is part of history. Jo, Must you always speak in innuendo and riddles? Bragging about all your friends in high places doesnt give any info about what actually happened. Was the surgeon prosecuted for Medicare fraud? Yes or No? If so what was the surgeon's name? Just fact checking Jo. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  14. Jo wrote: Jo, That is a very serious accusation. You seem to throw around murder accusations quite lightly. You think Bruce may have killed Cossey and now you are accusing surgeons of deliberately killing their old patients. I work with surgeons a lot and none I know fit your evil description. The ones I know are truly obsessed with good outcomes. They are constantly training on advanced techniques that offer better results. No way would they want to "kill off" a patient. Many highly skilled surgeons work for HMOs, county hospitals, VA, BIA, academic institutions and other low paying places. There are bad apples in any profession but your generalization about uncaring money hungry homicidal surgeons is way off base. I do hope you fully and quickly recover from whatever procedures are needed and that your surgeon doesn't want to "kill you off". 15. I also have had 2 cutaways, once in the early 70s on surplus rounds with no RSL and once at WFFC on modern squares with an RSL. The RSL beat me handily and I tried to pull fast. I had plenty of altitude on that 2nd cutaway but... if I was running out of altitude the RSL could have made the difference between "splat" and "whew". Great invention, thanks to Perry Stevens and other gear pioneers. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  16. In 1968 I was taught to try to kick them out on rounds. BUT, if the canopy was not controllable by hard deck altitude for any reason I was instructed to cut away. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

  18. The B 29 Building 727 airstair rig wouldn't tell you if you could open it in flight without upsetting aircraft flight characteristics. I think the only definitive answer was contained in the records of the flight tests. Sheridan probably could have accessed those easily given the nature of his job in tech documentation. I had a nice cheer package for Sheridan this Christmas but he wouldn't answer any emails seeking a delivery address. I was passing through Windsor after Christmas and had hoped to deliver it in person. I promised no Norjack interrogation and I keep my promises. I ended up giving it to a local homeless guy I help out. He really appreciated it. I'd love to talk to Sheridan and just get his opinions about Norjack and who could have done it if it wasn't him. He is an old man and isn't well. Time is running out for any interview chances. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  19. Jo wrote Interestingly the "schematic" doesn't tell you enough to know if a 727 stair jump is feasible. Take a look: https://sites.google.com/site/boeing727172airstairs/ To REALLY know you'd have to have access to the Boeing flight tests that were made on behalf of a government customer. Sheridan Peterson might have had access since he worked in technical documentation at Boeing, a job he took after being unable to get 727 airstair info from his landlord Sailshaw. Sailshaw was a Boeing engineer who worked on the 737 airstair, a side deployed system used by Alaska Airlines and not at all practical for jumping. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 21. The ex SAS DC 9-21 (owned by the Perris Valley DZ in CA) that I jumped out of in 2006 had a Cooper Vane but it didn't stop us from jumping as the airstairs had been removed for the jump flights. I took a close-up photo of the Cooper Vane and have it somewhere. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  22. Blevins wrote Amen. Treating the FBI sketch (or sketches) as a photo of Cooper is a mistake. I practiced criminal defense law for years. I can't tell you how many times eyewitness descriptions and composite sketches made in consultation with eyewitnesses proved to be waaaaay off base. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. 23. Been doing research on when nylon replaced silk for WW2 canopies. Making some progress. Found a lot about crash site excavations in Europe and the US and how well canopies of both types survive when shielded from UV and oxygen. An article in the journal of the American Aviation Historical Society has provided some very useful info. Bottom line is that I believe the Amboy chute was likely tafetta weave nylon and not silk, but I am not 100% certain. I could tell in a minute if I could get a sample of the canopy fabric, even just a few threads. I'd burn them. Nylon and polyester melt. Silk burns to a crispy ash. I would like to see the recovery site excavated to see what lies below the cut suspension lines. The risers, which were not recovered, will tell us a lot. Could there possibly be a harness with human remains attached? Unlikely, but who knows? The site really should be dug up. It wouldn't take that much work. I hope FLYJACK continues his tie-tanium and other Norjack research. How refreshing to see someone post with zero personal bickering content. What ever happened to Marla? Is she still riding the Norjack horse or has she moved on to other pursuits? Bradley Cooper's father isn't mentioned much but he actually has decent Cooper qualifications. According to Bradley, his Dad was interviewed by the FBI immediately post skyjack but not subsequently pursued as a suspect. Wonder how they ruled him out? Happy 2015 everyone! 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
  24. Sigh... Jo, this is fantasy, not fact. Prove otherwise or stow it. 377 SO TELL ME THIS R U GOING TO PREPRESENT ME FOR FREE IF I GOT SUE BY A MAJOR WEALTHY FAMILY AND THE COMPANY THEY OWN? ARE YOU GOING TO PROTECT ME? ARE YOU GOING TO HELP ME OBTAIN SOME RECORD THE DO NOT HAVE IN THEIR OFFICE BECAUSE JERRY WARREN HAD THEM??????????????? DIDN'T THINK SO U WON'T TOUCH IT. TO MUCH POLITICS INVOLVED AND COULD GET A LITTLE NASTY. SAME COMPANY THAT FORMED PROTECT AND DO NO HARM. SAME MAN WHO SENT UNARMED ME TO DALLAS TO PROTECT KENNEDY BY THEY GOT HIM ANY WAY. THERE IS ONE OF THE SHOTS THAT SHOW A MAN WITH A SUIT ON AND HIS OVER COAT OVER HIS LEFT ARM WALKING AWAY FROM THE KNOLL. TAKE A GOOD GOOD LUCK AT IT. ANOTHER SHOT OF 2 MEN WATCHING FROM THE SIDE WALK THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION FROM WHERE THE SHOTS CAME..STANDING NEAR A CAR... THEIR MOTTO PROTECT AND DO NO HARM...THEY WERE UNARMED BUT IF THE COULD STOP THE BULLET THE WOULD HAVE LAID THEIR LIVES DOWN TO PROTECT KENNEDY. WAS PROTECT AND DO NO HARM IN THE WRONG PLACE - YEA THE BULLET CAME FROM BEHIND kENNEDY AND THEY KNEW IT WOULD BE ABOUT THAT POINT - BUT ALL THE COULD DO WAS STAND THERE - THE WERE BOTH CONS....IF THEY HAD BEEN CLOSER AND AT A DIFFERNET ANGLE - THEY COULD HAVE TAKEN THE BULLETS. So these ex con heroes went to Dallas unarmed knowing the approximate shooting site and hoped to place themselves in the line of fire as human shields? That's silly Jo. An elevated shooter and moving target makes such a scheme completely pointless. And without guns how were they planning to deal with a shooter? Do no harm? How about do nothing useful? No I won't represent you defending one of your imagined lawsuits. A client who speaks in riddles and teases isn't for me. Fear not Jo, nobody is going to sue an old ill defendant with minimal assets. Your best defense against civil litigation is to be penniless and uninsured. You have ZERO evidence that Georger and Duane had any connection. If I am wrong prove it. I still like you and welcome your presence here but good grief. How about less fantasy and more facts? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.
