  1. cool thanks dude. I typed in sponsoring or sponsorship and nothing came up. I like that "human billboard" concept. I'm going to use that one. Thanks again. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  2. uhhhhhh to look purty in purty gear. uhhhh only if and when I decide to take up base jumping and take a canopy ride down from the roof to get lunch instead of taking the elevator down. Well, it's really me that's offering to advertise. I edited my original post. What they'll get out of it would be advertising and promotion. Thanks dude. 3. Hey gang. I need some help writing a proposal to the marketing dept. at my Job. I'm planning on presenting a rig design, canopy design, suit design and a helmet design with my company's logo on all the items and even match the colors on the logo as well. I'm sure the designs will catch their eye. However, it's the pitch that I need to snag them. Any, thoughts, ideas, inputs or suggestions? What's the reason why I'm asking for sponsorship? 1. To promote the company and advertise for them. Which is my number one reason to them. 2. The exposure for them will speak louder than a bunch of screamin' whores running away from vice cops in NYC streets. 3. I'm sure you all know why I really want to do it. Shallow as it may sound...Free Gear dudes! I'm trying to be realistic and optimistic. I know there's a strong chance I may not get it but you just never know. Even if I only get a helmet design out of it, I still come out a winner. Oh yeah, and the company I work for is A & E Television Networks, parent company of The History Channel, Biography Magazine, Biography Channel, etc. Thanks in advance gang! 5. How could everyone forget "The Fall Guy" and "The Bionic Woman". Someone mentioned Charlie's Angels 2. There was also a scene in Charlie's Angels I. And the one that hits home for me is "That's Incredible". That's when I knew I wanted to be Skydiver. I can't remember if they were doing canopy formation or a Big Way. I think it was both. 6. duh cuz you guys keep on clicking on it. I let it play on my computer when I know I'm stepping out and other people are back at their desk. It drives them nuts! hehehehehe What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?

  9. I'm glad you liked it. When I first heard it, my co-worker had it blasted on his speakers, playing for about 30 minutes straight. I was ready to break his computer. And then when I saw the badger on the screen I was cracking up. The only wind I am is the hot air I blow or when I'm passing gas. Shoot, the only time you should bow down to me is when you want to talk eye to eye with me. Bend down is more like it. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?

  12. The mullet pic didn't make you laugh? *ahem* yeah, I just like sportin' a scalp top. I'm not trying to hide anything....*cough* Quite honestly, I think it would look pretty funny if my top didn't match the bottom. Plus, it's easier to clean up after you finish doing the deed... 13. This is guaranteed to make you laugh. I call it the superkat wonder years cuz I wonder where all my hair went. My favorite one is the mullet. Go ahead and laugh at my expense. http://www.superkatnyc.com/hair77.jpg What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  14. Those were just suggestions. As an adult, you should do whatever the fudge you want to do. Just be prepared to handle the consequences and suffer some losses. Just be man enough to own up to the fuck up and move on from it. Unlike skydiving, this is one area where you know that even if you fuck up and fuck up big, you can definitely walk away from it and slap yourself upside the head with a brick for screwing up. Unless of course, one of dem gals goes fatal attraction on yo ass. Den, ya gots ya self a problem. Aiite?! What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?

  16. Dude, get real. Every girl you date is going to be sloppy seconds for you or even sloppy 3rd, 4th and 5ths. You want pure and untouched snow, go watch "JACKASS" the movie right before he makes the piss snowcone. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  17. Dude, the only reason why I would say no is because you said the key word there, "best friend". How long of an ex are we talking about? Years, mos or weeks? Your ex is going to think that you're dating her best friend to make her jealous and what not. Then, it will cause problems for your ex and her best friend because her best friend is obviously not her best friend because she never told your ex about the feelings she has for you. Then, eventually your ex will reveal way too much negative info about you to her best friend to spite you. And you both have feeling for eachother still? Too much drama man. Someone's gonna get hurt real badly and/or your new relationship may not last as long as you may want it to. There are tons of other fish in the sea, I say go elsewhere. 18. Well said on all your points. I'm gonna do just that. No need for me to further inquire about this to anyone else at the DZ. Thanks All. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  19. Altough that's not clearly stated on the SIM, I get the point. It makes sense. Even if the jumper has quite a few jumps, that A license card is proof in the pudding. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  20. In no way, shape, or form was I planning on coaching or instructing her. She was going to jump and I was going to video her jumps and then we show it to her instructors. I wasn't planning on advising her about anything except keeping the skydive safe for both of us. I guess this is the fine line that I shouldn't cross. Which I knew probably wasn't a good idea to begin with. I'll just wait till she gets her "A" license then. Thanks All. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  21. This sounds like it refers to all student jumps prior to graduating AFP or AFF. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  22. I will most certainly do that first. What's your answer to this for your DZ or what you think is right or wrong? What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  23. I ordered a SONY PC 109 from them back in June. It was on back order. I've called them 3x about it. It's still in back order and the order will process as soon as the item comes in, says the m*therf*cker. I asked, do you guys call anyone back to let them know that their order will ship soon? M*therf*cker on the phone said, "No. Just keep checking with us every 4 weeks". What a m*therf*cker. How's that for service. Anyway, I placed my camera order elsewhere and got it the next day. F*cked up thing is, since I placed the order in June I have still not received word from them about it. So, I just recently cancelled my order with them. 24. I don't think it's a good idea but I thought I'd ask anyway to get a definite answer. I tried looking in the 2004 SIM for the info but I wasn't lucky. So here goes..... When a friend of mine gets signed off AFF, can I video their jumps? I know that AFF students aren't allowed to fly with another person or in a group until they get their A license. Would this kind of jump be considered RW or group flying if we're not even docking? What's the DOs and DON'Ts of this case scenario? Let the ripping begin. I have less than 10 camera jumps now and by the time my friend gets signed off AFF I'll probably have about 50-70 camera jumps. The purpose of all this is to give my friend free video and she can show her instructors how her body position, altitude awareness, and stability are in freefall.
