I've been in EMS for many years, and many, many nasty things come out their holes when people code. Therefore, if your picture is in my wallet, you get mouth to mouth. No pic, no mouth to mouth. Thats the plan anyway. When I used to work as a lifeguard I always planed on removing my shirt, sunglasses and hat before going in the water.... you know how many new pairs of glasses and hats I had to buy? If it came down to it, and instict took over, i would hope to have the presence of mind to at least put piece a cloth between me and person. Eating someone's else puke is no fun. For the Docs or almost Docs in da House How did you prepare for Step 1? Did you take a prep course? We had a Kaplan rep show up yesterday, and I'm debating on wheter to go on the Kaplan retreat, where you are "quarantined" in a hotel for 6 weeks, or to just attend live lectures at a Test center. I, like the rest of the world, have the videos, but I think I need the structure of a classes to stay on time and on top of it. I'm however afraid that just sitting in class all day may not leave me enough time to study and do questions. Any advice would be good Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Little piece of extra something to know: The alcohol will accumulate more readiuly and break down slower if you're getting your drink on with grapefruit juice. I hate grapefruit, but as a broke ass student, any thing to get you "drunker" and save money can help. If you have a little time this morning, pleazzzzzze send me whatever it is that you do. Tuesday, we had our third sem. test. We as a class, had our asshole handed to us. A few of your future doctors -- including gunners (crazy overachieving bastards) left the test hall in tears. Today at 1:00 pm, I go in for my cummulative semester final (pathology, pharm, micro, behavioral), its a make it or break it since as of monday we still had 45-50% of our grade still out. At this point, I'm used to having tests. They are all important and usually one on top of the other, but this sem. the testing scheduled changed where we are given 1 DAY to study for the final. I don't remember being so stressed out over a test. I'm tired, sleepy, nauseous, nervous as hell. I usually complain about tests and exams, but I'm a pretty good student. I study hard EVERY DAY (probably more on weekends), I'm always on top of it and always try to get a little more in my head, but tomorrow... I feel like I'm going in naked and just hoping. Fail 1 class = repeat entire semester Fail 3 classes = Thrown out of school in shame and $60K in the hole So,please if you have some time, please, a couple of vibes, prayers or whatever would help. *My misery /bitching* Trust me my life is worse. Past 3 weeks - 2 oral exams and one practical Yesterday - Hard as balls (pathology) lab exam Tomorrow- National subject specific exam (shelf) - 8 am -> Probably going to fail it b/c I just don't know the drugs or conditions Next week 3rd major exam of the semester one day off and cummulative final. Around 50% of my grade is still out - so I could still fail the semester. (Fail any one class - repeat entire semester) or god forbid fail 3 classes - thrown out of school.
