Get down and knock out 50!!! oops, sorry, little flashback there. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Actually, that puts me about 8th on weight. It still surprises me that I can be standing next to someone who ways more than me; but folks will think I'm the bigger one (6'6" 240-250). I am sorry about your son. Given enough time to grieve and embrace the sadness for awhile; eventually you can attack the increasing weight. Take your time, bro... the sky's always here. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

That's because you haven't seen it occur in freefall - while turning, which caused the spinnup, which caused them to kick another skydiver in the head, who was knocked out, no AAD (early 80's), who was on their back flailing, came to enough to pull their reserve, flare and land. When the seizured kickee got on the ground. The skydiver with seizures apologized and told everyone then. Upon hearing this; the skydiver, friend of mine, and recently discharged member of the 82nd Airborne who was knocked out - dropped his gear on the ground in front of the DZO and said, "I'm done - that's for sale." Now, in all fairness he'd just had a child about four month's previously and getting knocked out in freefall was a wake-up call (sorry about the pun); However, if the skydiver had disclosed this to him, he would have had a _choice_ as to make the jump with the other diver. He may have, he may not have; but he would have been informed. Finally, you can't tell me you haven't seen someone at this stage in their progression start moving towards larger formations and who hasn't seen one taken out by one's approach from to high of an angle of attack from 30' and wipe out the formation... 5 seconds of seizure was mentioned. How many feet is that in freefall? I agree with this, but would put a "before your next jump" clause on it. I'm all for individual freedoms and shit. I've jumped with folks with all kinds of afflictions; diabetes, cancer, African-American, epilepsy, bum tickers, missing limbs, etc. But, individual freedom means just that and when it may affect someone else's life; you have to respect their individual freedoms and give them the right to choose. And, in that vane, I agree with JP. If I still had a DZ and someone approached me with that - you're more than welcome to do solo HopNPops until you get on the meds and a doctor's clearance to drive at 120 mph. [ Please tell me you know that was a joke based on the other thread about African-Americans. ] Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

There's no moral dilemma here. You need to talk with your local S&TA - not only for her safety, but for those she's jumping with... What if you retained this knowledge and she took some skydivers out? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I'll take the splash over the thump anyday. I'm gonna have to think about this LP thing. I keep hearing more and more good shit about it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

One analog One or two audibles. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Walt almost got banned for his turd thread. Billvon said intellectual shit. Turtle is still a prevert. AggieDave still lives in Texas. Some folks at Skydive Deland need some help. We haven't solved the Iraq mess yet. Did I miss anyone? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I'm not liking you right now. Matt. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Well, that's one way to validate a hypothesis. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

See!!!!!! Even their offspring is nothing but trouble. Wait till they start tryin to learn how to blow shit up! Have a good night. BTW - I like the short-timers calendar in your sig line Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

OHHHHH SHIT!!!!! That explains a lot!!! They weren't spittin at a soldier, they were spitting at a Ranger. BIG fucking difference. You know how much trouble those bastards cause?!?!! My Pathfinder class was loaded with those SOB's and every day one of three things was gonna happen - they were gonna get drunk, get laid or get in a fight. Not in that order and if any two of those things happened in a single day, it was a bonus day. And, if one of those things didn't happen - they'd kick each other's ass before lights out just to make sure it was a good Ranger day. Dear God, woman?!?!? What the hell were you thinking marrying a Ranger?!!?! Shit, I can see it now; bunch of little Rangers-in-training running around the house with their little "high & tights" tearing shit up, doin PLF's off the fridge... Sheesh. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Yup. And, I can still give you the water landing EP's. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I joined the Army at the end of Vietnam in 1974. While things had dwindled down significantly in the way of personal attacks by that time; there were still the occasional disparaging remarks I got while in uniform in a civilian world... They were more than made up for by the veterans of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. At every airport or bar I went for those first three years; I did not buy a single drink and a lot of my meals were anonymously paid. Now, it's my turn. I travel a lot and see Soldiers, Marines and Sailors in uniform while traveling. The best thanks we can give is the anonymously bought thank you meal. Pass it forward doesn't apply to just skydiving. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Kind of a sidebar, but related. Have you ever seen some of the artwork done by Pat Works years ago? http://www.cs.fiu.edu/~esj/uwf/works.html If you look at the picture on the far left, the top of the sketch is skydivers that morph into doves, and the other is skydivers diving to a formation which morphs into a flower. I think there is market for skydiving art in multiple venues and appreciate the work you've shared. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Good question - symphony of discussion for your review. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2350688 Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I'm thinking what you're thinking. Where the hell is Billvon when the scientific shit is needed? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Here's your sign.... Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

V3 - good - ask about the Skyhook option. Reserve - Great choice. AAD - Cypres2 - Excellent What Billvon said about the main. Please review and learn his: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/safety/detail_page.cgi?ID=47 About the suit. Please contact TonySuits and/or FliteSuits... Both make an Anvil Brothers specific RW suit. My FliteSuit has a 10" wing with ZP inside which allows me to easily vary my fall rate from 108 -126 mph. I use this for formations with those smaller than me. My TonySuit has an 8" ZP wing, but has ZP inside the sleeve liner also. I use it to easily vary my fall rate from 115-135. I use this when jumping with my fellow AB's or in larger formations. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

How tall are you? Don't make a fucking move till we talk. I am the second biggest jumper in the USA and helped the First biggest motherfucker in the USA verify his gear choices... Been helping Anvil Brothers for a looooooong time and no one's died. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

You obviously haven't seen his speeches to young black audiences to stop blaming the white man for their situation and to take responsibility for their lives. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Thanks for the offer.... I'm a bit stubborn and want to learn how to do it, rather than have it done. "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I don't know if you remember Doc from SkyFest, but as a vet, she'll tell you the fact that you were able to overcome pancreatitis - is no less than a miracle. Congrats. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I'll second that. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
