    Agreed....one or two dogs together are fine, but when you get more then three together the "whole pecking" order comes into play..... they eat as a "pack", play as a "pack", sleep as a "pack", every dog in the house hold has a "place" within the pack and you can defiantly see it as an owner. I own four dogs. I am extremely careful not to let them out if there are other dogs or pets of any kind near them. They will take it down. They know I am the pack leader though thats for sure.     Chris, I went thru this with my son when he was 9 months old, Christmas night. The dog snapped at him because he was crawling around on the floor and the dog was enjoying her christmas bone that she got. It only took taking our eyes off of both of them for a split second and it happened. He was rushed to the ER and got 25 stitches on his face. Yep, lots of blood and thankfuly his eyes were unharmed. 11 years later you can barely see the scars. very scarey indeed. The little one and of course his family are in my thoughts and prayers.     God! I HATE this saying!! It really bothers me. It just sounds soooo red neck!! Who says this?? And why? There is a girl that I work with that says this and I finally told her that it really grates on my nerves. She said it while talking about her husband.
