Gawd how I love the skydiving mentality! The way I approach it is to tell them both *before* it happens. Last week when we had our -air temps and -windchills and tonight yes! Two nights ago when we had our 40-60mph straight winds, I was in a tent! I am sorta like SPEEDRACER and His "cave" mind! ALthough I don't look at my deal as "claustorphobic", it is more of this, A tent is good for rain, and mosquitos/snakes/creepy crawlers.... Other than that i want open space! A tent is NOT gonna protect me from a bear, mtn lion or a tornado! etc

Whats yr age? If I may.... I am 45 in March, and I was 1.25 in the left and 1.50 right last Nov... I have NO plans on ANY surgery for my eyesight in the nearest future.... I will continue to use "cheaters" until my eye doc says to quit! But I think in my next appt or the one after that (Nov 08/Feb09) He may start proding me to do something better...

I am not out there Pearl to get uP early to watch the sky dear! I am out there because I am "crazy" in alot of peeps eyes, and so I need to maintain that perception! PLUS, like I said somewhere in here over the last few days, once i get over that temperture change hump, I am good with "old man winter" I would much rather be in warmer climate so I could get jumps in (shortly after HIGHSCHOOL graduating of the baby 2009, this will happen WooHoo), but since there is nothing I can do about the COLD, and while I am still able to, I will enjoy my romp with nature in Her cold "elements" any time that I can!!! There is absolutely nothing that comes close to wakeing uP in the morning with a dusting to 1' of powder on ones nose (not in or uP) to be invigorating to the "soul of surviving the elements"... YeeHaw.... Just waiting to get my ass off this glorified arcade/typewriter!

WHATEVER you do DO FIXED rate! 15 20 maybe 30 yr and refi (w/o clo costs see below) in about 2-3 yrs if rates are down below yr original! Opt out of any "PRE PAY penilties" and look for a lender that does not SCAM you with a "closing cost" CLOSING COSTS is a SCAM and has been since it was incorp into the loan terms years ago(b4 I born 1963)!!!! The FED sets the RATE, lets say 2.75%, the Mortg Co. gives you a RATE lets say 6.25%.... the difference is 3.5%.... The Mortg Co. is MAKING (overhead and PROFIT) 3.5%!!! Thats is the REAL closing costs!! TRY like hell to ALWAYS pay at least 10-15% on PRINCIPAL each month or at least every other month.... homeowners SHOULD be paying at least as a minimum of 20% towards their principal annually!!!!! (without ANY penilty!) Make sure you can get out of yr rental contract with no major penilties, and ALSO make sure that you are allowed ENOUGH time (in terms&conditions) to make the move into yr NEW
