    100+ acres and you squeezed it into a 1000sq ft area!!! Yr new name shall be 'MAVERICK" I stood uP my first 5 jumps in SL, ass on 6th and 99% of the rest have been standing until i jumped a bunch last year with a F111 after my ZP chop! I will say that my stand uPs look like something that even the Cirque de Sole crew wouldnt attempt..

    I answered "...i trust my DZO" Not that I wouldnt know what I was looking at, but I have been in jumpships that LOOK NEW and end uP haveing a problem! Then I have been in jumpships that look a lil ruff (duct tape included) and fly like they're suppose to! About like jumping anyway or LIFE.... When my number is called to that big DZ in the heavens, then why spoil it with "sweating the small shit!"

    I have a buddy that has a self portrait and the vapor trail of the shuttle is in his sunglasses! I think we all know about AIR SPACE RESTRICTIONS! But do you knowwhat they are exactly for jumping during LAUNCH DAY? I mean obviously fun jumping goes on at Seb... but what about other DZs closer to the Cape? Hop N Pops and XC are my thAng too peeps! My biggest anxiety with them tho is the UNKNOWING aircraft... Dont mind "rubbernecking" except it takes away some of the actual enjoyment I do them in the first place! Even with NOTAMs and such, I have had a Commanche go right below across our fl path and over the LZ

    I too have no AV or AS software on my computer. It's very puzzling to me, so I guess this is my opportunity to ask (everyone in this thread.) What is it that you are doing that the AV or AS needs to protect you from? Why don't you learn how to stop doing those things? isnt that obvious? surfing way too many pr0n-sites.. My early AV/spy-adaware/hijacking usually came from email attachments, or (mainly) web page REDIRECTS)... I just became really cautious after a few incidents that almost wiped my hdd clean and almost unbootable

Oil viscosity breaks down pretty quick (including the synthetics) esp about the first 500 miles! 1965GMC10'3/4tn 305V6 63k (in rehab-off frame restoration) engine is EXC! 1989Dakota- 204k GONE! 1990Dakota- 196k and still going..... 1989Taurus Wgn 193k still going STRONG! 1993MazProtege 184k still going (SWEEEETs new one She bought with ppr route money from like 10yrs ago) and my FAVORITE; my "PMPSCRT" (SKYMOBILE) 1984 Escort just tuned 49,000.... 6X's a year @ $25=$150x4(veh)=$600 Not a bad tradeoff for keeping them out of the fast approaching $100 lbr hr shop mark, for ENGINE repairs! All my vehicles are 1owners b4 I got'em, with the exception of the GMC which had 12 owners b4 ME!! Originated from Madrid Iowa from a firehouse... I bought it at a garage sale from a Preacher!!

I also use; SPYBOT (mainstay) HIJACK THIS CWSHREDDER (dont hardly use anymore) 99% of the BEST ANTI anything on the planet can be found here; http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php Wanna talk "GEEK", the oldtimers of a couple years ago, were/are the b*mb at identifying and fixing so damned fast its crazy! I wish I could have a 1/3 of their brains!! The FORUMS are an EXCELLENT source for info and fixes! I am building from scratch a new puter and won't be changing any of my ANTI programs at all! Dont get me wrong, i dont solely just use these guys, I use a combination of sources to stay as current and on top of it as possible.. But Merjins crew is my first goto... It has been pretty cool to watch all the indivdual geeks come together and and then house themselves under Merjin...

I had an "avoidable" (which most are) chop (cutaway) BECAUSE neither I or the packer discussed ANY "special" procedures in packing my equip..... >> at self!! In the end "NEWBies", do what the DZO, the BSRs FAA, DEA, FBI DoD, BATF etc TELL YOU to do!!!

    Allow me to add.... that if it IS a 36mos batt and only 24mos have passed, then run back to the store where purchased (if possible), and after testing (if fails test) then there SHOULD be a "pro rated" price on a NEW battery!

    HBD dude! OMFG.... I KNOW RIGHT? My rigger was going on a trip a few days b4 this past Christmas, so I rush my (just out of date) rig over to Him b4 he takes off for the next 3-4wks, and He still got back b4 I could get a jump in! I am indate with no time!!! IT SUCKS!!!!!! I may be on the puter complaining when ALL could think that I could drive a cpl of hrs to some dz, but my deal is that I'm sorta like on a 24/7/365 on call basis, and I need to actually file for "vacation days" which I have left open for WFFC...
