What I am trying to find here from the high performance canopy fliers is how would you shut that canopy down at that speed without popping back into the air and landing on your face in a dive? That is the truth. More speed equals more lift so I am told. I am still looking for a crossfire of equal wing loading. A crossfire should solve my problem in the last 10% of the flair. Blue Skies and Smooth Rides!!

Andyman, Your post is RIGHT on.. Well said.. I am flying my diablo at 1.65.. If I don't bring it in screaming I am running a little trying to finish the flair. Now that I have it dialed in it is fine but I am still getting a crossfire109 to replace it for more bottom end. Great canopy though.. Optimum wing loading MAX would be 1.5 on that thing still having a bottom end. 1.3 would be a very nice flying yet still forgiving canopy. Rhino Blue Skies and Smooth Rides!!

It depends on what loading you are at.. I have owned and own both.. I jumped a Triathlon150 loaded at 1.25 for 170 or so jumps I now have a Diablo110 loaded at 1.7 with over 60 jumps.. The Triathlon is a great canopy and so is the Diablo.. What is your wing loading and experience? Rhino Blue Skies and Smooth Rides!!

From the outside Skydive Spaceland is a great DZ.. We are getting the shimmy on the inside.. I ALWAYS want the shimmy from the inside. That is the true colors of a DZ.. I've known Scotty and Tam for a while and SOMETHING must be wrong for them to be leaving.. Especially considering the fact that they were planning on opening Carbonezone resteraunt across the street from spl.. I for one like to know the inside scoop.. Little things like aircraft maint records and who is doing the maint is VERY important to me. Me personally, I liked the DZ.. All things considered it was the best run I've seen.. This can pretty much go for whatever direction you want to go.. - Forward is making the front small and the back big "tracking for example" - Backward is making the front big "hands out in front" and the back small "legs on your butt" - Sidesliding left make your left side small and your right side big - Sidesliding right make your right side small and your left side big "sticking a little left side out will tilt you or slide you to the right" Just make sure what you expose to the wind is even on the top and bottom half of your body or you will turn instead of slide. Good for you Billy.. Have fun on the jump with your girl!! When my X-wife ran I immediately filed for divorce in Tx.. She dragged it on for a year knowing it would keep me away from my son.. She also filed later in Michigan just to drag it on further knowing it would cause further complications and cost more time. I talked to my son almost every night for that year.. The judge gave me everything and signed off on the divorce and I ran to Michigan for the first job I could get my hands on.. Talk about evil.. "Parent Alienation" was a big issue. She tried to turn him against me. My 2.5 year old boy!! Some people are sick!! I commend you for being able to keep your issues separate.. I have always been willing to do that but she hasn't. In time I have forced her to through the court. I have also managed to stop the parent alienation. If anyone is having problems with parents turning kids against the other parent I can point you in the right direction. Custody can be TOTALLY and INSTANTLY reversed due to parent alienation..
