the only thing I have known like it was about 8-10 years ago at a skydive boogie in Iowa called Dollar Days. Most people that go to the boogie know thw story. some guys tried to do what they called a "SLOPE SLIDE".. two guys help inflate the canopy as he ran off the water tower slope. all I know is this guy did not get an inflated canopy and the chain link fence at the bottom saved the the guy. apparently it had enough coushin in it to stop his fall. he lived. looks like alot of fun. chcken man CHICKEN MAN BASE 954

WOW.. that was sure fun.. JUST want to thank all my KC friends for all the GAY fun on this forum.. Look at the fun people can have when you are drunk and give them your login to a BASE BOARD.. It all started two weeks ago with my FIRST B thanks to the KC crew... that was awesome, and scared me shitless all at the same time. and my 25th base jump last weekend. OK first you can only gay flame me on my post AM I OK.. I'm glad you KC guys are gay too.. LOL and its DONKS fault. as far as towers. it may be a good idea to start writing letters to media corp's. many radio stations and tv stations are consolidating and building new A's. I live in nortwest Iowa. we have a few towers over 1000 that are no longer used. I think they are owned by WAITT media group. Norm Waitt is the owner. MH you may be correct, or I may be getting influenced by the guys I jump with. I really gotta figure this one out....seriously also by the looks of those avators. BASE515 is really on the edge by showing us his butt.. And skinflicka.. dude your avator just scares me. not trying to make any personal attacks, but it is a little wierd. maybe its true. base jumpers are closer than anyone else. gotta go get my flick on. Last night I was at a bar talking to DONK about different gear. part of the way through our conversation the band started to play. Well DONK kept getting closer to me so we could hear each other. berfore you know it he was rubbing his JUNK on my knee. This has been killing me so I have to ask everyone for their opinion. I am at an exit point with one of my very good friends and we are getting ready to jump. The sun is setting, the fields below are fluorescent green and the sky above is irredescent blue...I cant help but notice how beautiful my friend looks in the surrondings, and as much as I wanted to hug him, I was afraid I would be preceived as gay...am I...or do all of you experience something similar. totally confused, Chicken man. Jumping a NON base canopy. I have made my first 9 jumps a RAVEN III. If you are asking qwestions here you are doing one thing correct. I started jumping it before bridge day last year then at bridge day and a few other A and B jumps after that. from 225 - 830 feet. I started making jumps on a FOX 245 VTEC over the 4th of july a the Perrine Bridge with the help of DONK and Tom, and a few other guys. THE RAVEN IS NOW SEMI-RETIRED.. meaning the BASE RIG is my jumping rig. I will use the old raven and base container on a few jumps. such as Perrine, BD, and if I need a rig for a water landing. Personally I would say get a base specific rig. they are cheap enough used and are worth the money. JUST MY 2c DT www.justbase.com CHICKEN MAN BASE 954
