  1. Oh and by the way NSFW Depends where you work Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  2. This might have been posted already but I haven't noticed it. Considering the excitement that both these subjects create I thought it would be appropriate for here. I love it and could play it all day long. http://www.101kgb.com/media/tittiesandbeer.swf S'later Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  3. I've saw a BASE video by some Norwegians, I think they were anyway, with a other tandem BASE jump on it. It was pretty funny to watch. The tandem passenger walked to the edge of the cliff and jumped with the tandem master on his back. Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  4. Was the camera shake OK? What was the focus like? Tom. Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  5. Apart from in the bedroom, has anyone used there camera helmet set up for something other than skydiving? I'm thinking about trying it out this winter when I go skiing. I would like to get some "skiing through the trees" type shots. Or go-kart racing, driver footage. Any comments? Tom. Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  6. Cheers Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  7. Is there a web site or anywhere else that you can get up to date info on the project? Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  8. Thanks Bill. Hop and pops aren't an issue my first free fall was a 3 second delay with a round and belly mount. From 2300 feet. That was only in 1992. It was the larger loaded turbines I was concerned about. Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  9. I have an other question relating to this thread. I mostly jump cessna's and an emergency out would only involve 4 to 5 people. Not too many canopies close together. What's the drill if its a big turbine and say has 20 people getting out. Do you pull as soon as your stable out the door. Do you try and track a bit then pull. I realise that height plays an important part in this but what's your thoughts on it. Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  10. Thats okay, bit of a panic on. I was hopping to get over for some good weather jumping later in the year. The weather in The UK has been shit this year. Wouldn't like to get there and be grounded. That would be a bummer. S'later Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  11. Didn't know that. there you go. Does that mean that there would be a problem with me jumping PdeF gear if I came over? S'later Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  12. I went from a fury to an Electra 170 PdeF. I had no problems at all. My exit weight is 190lbs. The canopy is a semi elliptical with zero p top skin and f111 bottom (its supposed to make it pack easier and smaller but I have my doubts). As far as performance goes it turns a hell of a lot faster than the fury and losses a lot more in a turn than the fury did, bit if you want it to be slow and easy when turning it can be flown that way also. It has a great glide on flare and it opens on heading every time. I love it. Its a lot better than the sabres I demoed. Although I never tried the sabre 2 as it wasn't out at that time. It was also cheaper and available straight a way. I'm not sure how available French gear is in the states or Canada, but I would seriously consider one. Great value for money. 13. Were the guys in the Bluetones not skydivers? I think I remember reading it somewhere. S'later Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  14. I reckoned that they were more useful as a climbers tool. I couldn't find any info on how often they updated the reading. Thanks. Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  15. Anyone seen or used any of the Suunto watch range with a digital alti build in. I realise that the face may be a bit small and difficult to read in free fall but might be a nice toy/back up. I think Tissot also make one with a touch screen. Slater Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  16. Dedicated lady, a regular Florence Nightingale. He's a lucky guy and healthy I presume. S'later Tom P.S. Do you think this could be used as a defense if your were accused of sexual harassment at work? Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  17. Some of you might have seen this before but it seems to me that its conclusive proof. Boobies are good for you and are the new male wonder drug. S'later Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  18. Forgot about the old format problem. Thanks. As far as a warranty. I have no problems with buying stuff abroad or on holiday. Is that not why you have house hold or holiday insurance? New for old accidental damage cover. Beats all warranty schemes I've come across. S'later. Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud?
  19. Hi I'd like to know where you can get them for that price also.I was thinking about the PC101 but the cheapest I can get it is £870. If they're available for that price it would pay to come to the states and get one and have a jumping holiday as well.
  20. I snapped a leg off my Oakley eye jackets. I was told by someone that if I sent them back, with a cover note explaining how they broke and where I bought them ect. they would fix them for free. I tried it and they fitted a new frame to them. I'd had them for 5 years. If you ask any oakley dealer they should have a returns box, with the returns process explained on it. I've also tried it with an old pair of wire frame Oakleys, using my mothers address this time incase they rumbled me. I "accidently" snapped a leg on them and they replaced the whole, old, scratched bent, frames. I can't fault there customer service in the UK. I would imagine that being a US company, that it would be the same with you guys. The eye jackets are fine to jump with, I use them inside my Z1 full face. Tom Too much is never enough! 21. Cool, I've got a £25 John Lewis voucher from work. If it keeps on going like this, £1 here, £25 there I'll get it for nothing.
  22. Sorry about that Dave, I must have put a Scottish weather curse on you last night. S'later Tam
  23. I'm thinking about the Sony DCR PC101 I found it for £889.99 on www.pricerunner.co.uk there are 2 companies offering it at that price. S'later Tom
  24. See you there then. Remember, enjoy the good weather while you can.
  25. Grahams moved on. He's working in Huston now. Brain and Jo are living in Paris, but pop back now and agian. I'll pass on your regards when I see them. I wouldn't bother rushing back, the weather has been crap this year. Stay in the sun where you actually get a summer. As far as beers go, we've found a supply of 1.5 litre bottles of Grolsch. Think you could handle a few of those after weak American piss. Hope to jump with you soon. S'later
