  1. Yes, back to the Clinton's years...
  2. Same can be said about GW, whose response was immediate after being asked by the Governor of LA.
  3. Same thing applies in the current US military. We are trained to respect Intn'l treaties, we are given rules of engagement before engaging in operations, over all laws that were not there 20 years ago, have been implemented. To avoid these situations you speak off.
  4. We should Ban skydiving as well, we train people not to do low turns, they keep happening!!!. Isn't that an atrocity as well? Why don't you quit then? (please insert sarcasm smily). We all know we can achieve a perfect world...
  5. Nah, they are not moved by clerics who are currently requesting to be left alone, and rule these parts as they see fit....
  6. Oh, indeed I forgot to say that I love the smell of spent MK19 cartridges...
  7. Maybe, but yet your kind seem suspicious of everything and with lots of conspirancy theories, and no matter what facts you may bring to discussion most are without basis. If you have cared to read my comment, which you seem to have done superficially, you will find that, (please don't faint), the US military does punish/indict/investigate those wrong doings, and is part of the policy to do so, not the other way around, it is not ok, no matter how many times you are trying to point things in that direction. Implying I'm ok with children abuse and rape while I am stating that those offenses will emphatically prosecuted-punished and it is not part of our trainning is well, a very well veiled PA. Thanks a lot! Now, back to your usual US bashing as usual
  8. That info is obviously wrong, as it is 550 rounds per minute, maybe the excerpt was mistaken to one of the MK19 rate of fire....60 per minute. (at least is closer to that rate of fire)
  9. Perhaps, but the implication that US troops are trained specifically to abuse women and children, and do not take into account ACTUAL trainning to our troops, make this fairy tale assumption is totally delusional. And the reason that his argument falls into the category of pro-islamic person, is obvious as he does not get involved in discussing what islamic states are doing to women and children as part of their policies, creed and beliefs... Which differ completely to his assumption.
  10. So we can assume you are pro-Islamic? You forget that every soldier caught in abusing or wrong doing has been or are being investigated, punished and/or indicted. Hardly seem the case with people bent on ABUSING/STONING TO DEATH, and yea, a novelty for you, BOMBING in PUBLIC Places, women, children and pretty much anyone they don't give 2 shits about.
  11. I find this comment rather a hypocrisy and not pointing out who really try to abuse women and children, do a little search on the web and you will find how the islamic governed countries systematically short change women and children when it comes to rights...
  12. You are forgetting Andrew Johnson and Teddy Roosvelt (before being elected).
  13. Linz, I honestly think that all skydivers can't be morally right in the abuse of gas in this world....
  14. Yes, we all know what an american captive can expect if captured by the same radicals that are enjoying PC food, prayer time, and pretty much good treatment down in Cuba... It is so humane!!!
  15. So no military experience and yet you talk as a matter of factly It is clear you are not well informed in this area. As others have said, the US military have to comply with the US civil law (constitution, federal, state and local) and in addition, to the military law (UCMJ) Why don't you check on the court martial imposed on all those service men accused and indicted in prisoner abuse, and many other. Google is very easy to use. Misleading is what your comment is, as you already assumed the US military is above even their own law as you previously stated. I think so. Do we need to go back and explain you some history about the base in question? It would be wiser if you are REALLY interested in finding some relevant information that you do the research on your own, google is very easy indeed, and while you are at it, you may also want to find something (that might sound novell to you) about other nations also have "soil" located abroad and far from their country soil, IE Gibraltar. Apparently you also seem to actually "know" what goes on in Guantanamo, even though you never been there as I have...but go ahead let your preconcieved views speak for themselves!. Good day.
  16. I don't have any complaints. I served. And just enjoying home again.
  17. how do you lose a leg on a jump? did he look down and think "oh deary me, i appear to have misplaced my leg and don't seem to be able to remember where abouts i have left it" ? Think just a bit for a little while, don't you think that going at least at 120mph, something could go wrong on your jump? Ahh, surprise, one just has to look at your jump numbers.....
  18. And what happened to your "standards"? Is there any room for you to lower them? 3.1
  19. And the leaps in judgements I'm talking about, is twisting one words, and attempting to make them an attack, insult, which is disgusting, and wrong. I think it is a sad situation where it seems to be more emphasis put on depricating an administration, instead of having more complaints/outrage against terrorism. At least to where it could seem balanced, at least more inclined against terrorism....
  20. I see, now it's abouts US troops attacking US citizens. Is that right? Are you so sensitive that an honest opinion gives you the idea of an ATTACK?. All I said, is that it definitely seems that terrorists get a free hand, in comparison with the US sided criticism of GWB and what he is doing with our troops. I see you voice your outrage against the administration more often than (if you ever) you critize the terrorists for what they are doing, and how the do it. Have a good one man.
  21. mmm. Perhaps you (as in you alone) think we can't do nothing to them politcally. Your opinion, not mine. We can, yet no one wants to work in unison (as it is impossible) on this problem. There are tendencies worldwide and here at home (US) that seem very forgiving to any act this enemy might do, it borders to condoning, and is very condescending in nature. And in regards of making a leap judgement, I see many people around here that constantly make big leaps in judgement, without actually seeing or having their facts straight in any given subject. I'll give you an example, the thread about the US soldiers being immune from any US and/or international law...
  22. No, they don't. However, since the end doesn't justify the means under all circumstances (that whole Constitution thing), the actions that we take, as a nation, fighting terrorism can come under scrutiny. Very few people disagreed with what we were doing in Afghanistan. There are a LOT of people who wish we had stayed there and done it with as much vigor as we're investing in Iraq. The payoff might have been a much quicker transition. Saying "the current administration is wrong" is not saying "terrorists are right." Even if the current administration is against terrorists. Wendy W. Perhaps, in your opinion, but in mine, I see more dissent with the US-anything Bush than with terrorists, or what THEY Do.
  23. I find it very hipocritical that there is an invitation offer to share your opinion, and everyone seems to find fault at GWB somehow, however weak link, foolish conspirancy theory, or infactual proof. Yet the terrorists that target innocents, even their own, and who degrade their women, on the account of religion, get a free hand.....
  24. his mom did so did yours so did Wopalo's We'll start with yours...
  25. Here it is Clicky And here is the news report.
