Hi TracyS, When I asked Rick about that, he said :"If you have a Wings with an RSL, all you have to do is send the RSL lanyard and the freebag to us. There's nothing that has to be done on the rig." The price was 125 $ ex. shipping. As far as I can remember, the price of the system will be 200$ when you order it with a new rig, but don't quote me on this

Hi Juan, I've never seen Lesnik 1, nor I've ever heard of it. But... giving the fact that Lesnik series are drogue deployed square parachutes designed for the smokejumpres, I would guess that Lesnik 1 is using the same setup like 2 and 3 . Several Russian and Ukrainian riggers post here from time to time. I hope that they will share their knowledge with us, so we can both learn something new. Take care

Scares me. But if you know me you know that my first thought is "I want to test it". I did 2 test on different Teardrops yesterday morning. Both with normal fitting canopies. I'll ask you again. How do you know that I'm spreading misinformation if you were not there?I'm telling you what we were told in the "Understanding the Vigil AAD" seminar. If you are not happy to hear things "second hand", maybe you should consider going there the next time and ask those questions . If you have an e-mail or any other statement from the manufacturer, that they didn't change the function I'm talking about, post it here so the misinformation can stop. You don't have a point. This statement is partially incorrect. I'll explain why. Apparently they have changed that function on the Vigil. The new Vigils ( from # 26172 ) WILL shut down after 14h even in flight, but don't bother reading the manual. It's not there. The info is on the flier they will put in the box with the new unit. When I asked why, not in the manual, they said that the change is not significant to change the whole manual. So reading the manual is not always the answer. I'M USING CAPS LOCK BECAUSE THIS IS A BIG THREAD AND I WANT TO GET YOUR ATTENTION: You say you have a "Flier" that you found in the box? COULD YOU POST A COPY OF THAT HERE? I would really like to see that???? Sure -

I can't add anything to the discussion about the poor landing performance of the jumper, but I saw something while watching the video. What I'm going to point out has nothing to do with that girl breaking herself on landing!!! The jumper has a Vector 3 with Tempo reserve . The reserve is with soft links. The main risers are not RWS/UPT. The RSL ring is on the wrong side. It's a good thing that she didn't have an RSL because the RSL side (right for Vectors) released first. The cutaway handle is not RWS/UPT. ( they don't make them flat ) The reserve handle is most likely from Javelin. The handle is slim and there's a label with the part and batch #'s sewn under the velcro.
