    Look...you guys are all wrong. Dick Cheney orchestrated 9/11 from his secret base on Jupiter. There were no planes, it was all an illusion created by George Lucas for the TV and David Copperfield on the ground. The actual cause of the towers collapse was a giant laser beam from "the moon" - which actually isn't a moon at all, it's a "death star" created in 1929 by Adolf Hitler. Our "trip to the moon" in 1969 wasn't a research mission, they were going there to rescue princess Leia and take control of the base. Which we did. And ever since then we've been testing its accuracy by burning pictures into corn fields to practice for the "big mission" which was 9/11. Stole this off an aviation site thread about 9-11 conspiracies.......Seems as likely as the shit I just wasted an hour 20 watching

    Companies can charge $1000 per barrel if they want. I don't think today they'd stay in business long. You mean - if people would pay $1000 per barrel, then companies would charge it. That's a capitalist society. Yours is more socialistic where unreasonable price fixing is the norm. And unnatural (vs the market) pricing, high or low, is unhealthy for the economy. Hawaii began a price cap on the wholesale cost of fuel Sept. 1st. pegged to the cost on the east, west and gulf coast. Fuel went from a bit under 3 bucks a gallon to over 4 during Sept!!!! Of course, hurricane Katrina played a part in that. It's still about .20 a gallon higher than it was in August. The state legislature is going to set aside the gas cap price law soon it looks like

    Crash is a great movie and deserved best picture. Hoffman was excellent in Capote and deserved his too! Haven't seen Brokeback Mtn. and don't plan on seeing it either.

    The cops in Portland Oregon were a bit trigger happy and sometimes very poor shots. They once fired 38 rounds at a drunk they had rousted off a bus. He was hit once in the ass but the other rounds hit buildings in the background after crossing a busy 4 lane street. Maybe they should all carry a sack of oranges or potatos and throw them at criminals.
