Cheap, punk-ass Democrats hold hate-fest

I certainly hope that these modern day "moviestars" and comedians (washed up comedians I might add) keep this kind of talk going. I'm sure that it will help the candidates out in a most beneficial way, the republican candidates that is Some of you guys/girls on both sides of this issue need to lighten up, quit being so mean to one another -
I just love Tom Tomorrow's comics (even tho I support Bush (except for the Iraq misadventure)).Keneddy, lighten up man!We know that Bush isn't that dumb......Hmmmm....did that come out right?!?

Wow, I hope that Mr. Asshole feels better. He really seems to hold quite a grudge against President Reagan I was in my late 20's, a student at Portland Comm. College working on obtaining the required training to get my A&P (aircraft mechanic) license when the funding was cut for education. There I was, full time student, father of a baby girl with another child on the way and working almost full time at a gas station to supplement my VA and PELL grant income. Imagine my shock and horror when I received the letter informing me that I would have to do work/study to continue receiving my grant money. Reagan actually expected me to work for that?!? Needless to say, I then knew how evil and thoughtless them republicans were! I voted straight democrat from that day on (sorta). Finally, in 92, my candidate won! Bill Clinton will fix all them wrongs!!! President Clinton really opened my eyes! Been voting mostly republican since 96! Yep, Clinton really did open my eyes To make a (too) long story short, back then I thought that Reagan was about the worse asshole that ever came down the pike. Turns out he was one of the finest presidents this country ever produced. He had his problem areas as does our current president, but don't all of them? I don't know of any president in my lifetime that hasn't been through a controversy or two during their administrations. Rest in peace Mr. President. Mike

My Mom was 9 and Dad 15 on D day, so they probably were just doing kids stuff then.Of course, kid stuff then was gathering up stuff for the war effort, scrap metal etc. My Grandfather was a test pilot flying SBC-2 Helldiver dive bombers for Curtis A/C company in Ohio. I'm the first one in my family to have served in a combat zone (Vietnam 72) since the civil war. Had relatives fighting then on both sides! I hope that I'm the last one to serve in a combat zone in my family. Don't take this the wrong way folks! I am very proud of the generations that sacrificed so much so we get to live the way we do FREE. They are all owed a debt that none of us can pay besides thanking them before they're gone.

I must say I got a laugh out of the newspaper site with that quote "this stuff happens in big cities" (well, near enuf to the quote) Hasn't happened in the Portland metro area that I'm aware of I would agree that the dude was a whackjob, too bad he killed himself tho.

John, thanks for the prompt reply, you've answered all my questions! I don't want to try harder (personal attack). I like everyone here, even those whose views are 180 degrees different from mine Actually, I've been in agreement with Billvon and Quade on a number of issues, wow! Maybe my next step will be to come down to So Cal and make some jumps with some of the left wing whackos from DZ.com -

John, is there something wrong with people from Georgia? What's wrong with the 45 degree rule?!? Are you a registered brainiac? Do you have a job (you're on here at all hours)? What the hell is that thing in your aviatr? PS, I've consulted my attorney, there is no personal attack here -
the world hates us? My standard statement applies here: Fuckem if they can't take a joke!

tweedle de and tweedle dum Just kidding Bill and Quade

Damn, I'm in agreement with Quade on this one me a right wing whacko The media always trot out these feel good "facts" about how cheap gas is if it were adjusted for inflation. gee, I still don't feel good shelling out 40 bucks for a fill up that cost 18 bucks or so a few years ago. I'm not blaming this on GWB at all tho, I blame the assholes at big oil for it. Bet their making a ton of money for their stockholders and themselves I do blame GWB (and his handlers) for the bullshit in Iraq however. To me it's not so much the cost in money, it's the 800 young lives that got wasted (not to mention the thousands of Iraq residents that are hanging out with Allah now). I voted for Bush last time but have my doubts about this November unless he comes up with some sort of plan to keep from wasting another 800 Americans. Then again, a Kerry administration, YIKES!! Oh well, what are ya gonna do? Walk?!?
