I prefer Bush over Kerry and the libertarian candidate has no chance whatsover. WA state is going to be a very close race and Bush is the lesser of two evils I believe. To bad we have to pick the lesser of two evils.

Hi all. I quit my job of 11 years last April and found myself unemployed over the summer. I am currently working on Cessna Caravans here in Maui. I have been offered a permanent job here and at wages high enough to live on here, not just exist on. I also received a potential job offer at Long Beach, CA working on aircraft engines at close to the same pay. Then again, my home and kids (two teens I have primary custody of) are in the Portland OR area. The kids don't want to move anywhere (including the X's house that is in the Portland area). What should I do?!?

What he said! I watched part of one of those horrible videos and couldn't stomach it for the whole thing. I agree with Jeffrey that those human insects need to be eradicated. Several neutron bombs over the entire region (including Saudi Arabia which we should have gone after for 9/11 payback instead of Iraq) would work real good. Kill the vermin and not damage the oil facilities. And before you "Oh, we're all people" people start whining about my message here, tough shit! Kill them all and let God, I mean Allah sort them out -

To All Americans; I am a senior citizen. During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying job. I took numerous vacations and had vacation homes. Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for the worse. I lost my job. I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War. I lost my home. I lost my health insurance. As a matter of fact, I lost everything and became homeless. Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me. I will do anything to insure President Bush's defeat in the next election. I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year. Bush has to go. I just thought you would like to know how one senior citizen views the Bush Administration. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Sincerely, Saddam Hussein

Hey Hook, stop laughing out laoud about helments causing "neck" injuries, that pisses me off My older brother was killed in late 82 when he ran his hog off the freeway in Baton Rouge, went into a tatally grassy area where he and the bike flipped over and around several times. He laid in a hospital bed for a day in a coma and died from massive bleeding in his brain stem that couldn't be fixed. I think that you could refer to that as his neck area. He did not have a broken bone or scratch on his body. So, his fucking helmet killed him along with the high speed M/C crash. As for those of you that think that people are "stupid" for not wearing a helmet, FUCKOFF!!! Of course, nothing personal......

nope, not what I meant. NO ONE choice for president in your poll. Perhaps "other" in your poll instead of no one?!? I will be voting in the actual election in Nov. Will probably vote for the Libertarian candidate for president (not an option in your poll). I voted for President Bush last time, but due to the Iraq bullshit, won't be this time. President Bush is a good man, but 900 wasted american lives (not to mention the wasted Iraq lives) over distorted "facts" just don't cut it. I just hate to see soldiers getting wasted over nothing I guess. Maybe cause I'm a vet of the only war we ever lost (Vietnam, class of 72). Holy shit, I'm rambling here! Sorry

I learned to hang glide in 76, bought my wing in 77. It was fun. I always had the feeling that something bad was going to happen tho....... I lived in Wyoming then and the launch point was about 2,000 feet above the valley. On hot days it was pretty easy to gain a couple thousand feet above the launch point in the thermals. One time I followed a hawk for quite awhile till he spotted me. It was so cool watching him pull his wings in and dive several hundred feet

That happened to an Alaska airlines mechanic years ago but he managed to hang on and the mechanics running the engine immediantly shut the engine down before the guy got to the first stage compressor blades. I believe that 737 was powered by the JT8D instead of the CFM56 (lot further to the compressor). I heard the vacuum sucked the guys eyes out of his sockets but the med people put them back. Of course, that may have just come from several retellings of the original story
