I caught the last 5 minutes of that episode. I don't know why, but he got a 2 week stay. Which, in TV time, means they can do about 15 more episodes before his stay runs out. Michael got part of the tattoo burned off his back, so he can't remember what tunnel to take out of the prison. They did an ALL flashback episode where we found out Hot Prison Dr. Chick used to be a junkie, and nothing else of interest. ...Oh, and the Vice President's brother isn't really dead. Anyone who thinks they do is either really, really, UNUSUALLY self aware, or just listening to the echoes of their adolescent ego. I thank J. for clarifying all of that, and I can't add much, except that my hindsight is not 20/20, it's f*ckin' Superman heat vision. My last thought walking out the hangar door was that I might want to yank the computer, but I left it for all the reasons J. mentioned. Plus I was exhausted and trying to carry a cranky toddler back to bed. I should have appointed a guardian, but traditionally a number of my friends at these events are awake to see the sunrise. The reaction of our friends -and several strangers whom we're now anxious to make our friends- to this thread has been completely unexpected and overwhelming. If anyone thinks I set out to find pity or charity, my original post is still there to be read at their leisure. But, while we're on the subject, to those who have offered to help us buy new equipment: we love you too. And we're not taking your money. The reward fund will be used if the opportunity arises.
