two points... i pulled a ligament directly from the bone a year ago...dealt with the pain with THC and Leffe blonde...six weeks later it was fixed however on a more serious note try seeing your doctor...tell him what you do and what you need and he may write you a "private prescription" We did it to go to Baffin two years ago and got the whole shooting match...we were however a long ride to the nearest hospital http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

Just saw "the spy who loved me" opening sequence again on TV here...Rick had big nuts doing that gag...anyone know how many takes it took...what was the round he used?...Just found it interesting coz the movie came out in 1977...one for the BASE historians to flag up as a milestone??? http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

hey...maybe she is a natural blonde..anyway maybe you should see how many dead people there are on Nicks list before you even spend yor money on a course for BASE...watching the big boys pull it off on video at some boogie doesnt make it possible...they have done hundreds of jumps, got very lucky on a lot of occasions and what you see on the video is one half of one percent of the successful jumps they made to get there... go do some crw,do some accuracy on a big 7 cell,do some more crw,do a lot of wingsuit flights...think about it some more do some more crw/accuracy/big 7 cell jumps then maybe get your name down for a course in the states or with one of the european vendors...then look closely at the list and see how many dead experienced people there are on it...once you are happy take two broken femurs and call me in the morning http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

here in the uk the 42" ZP vented is the weapon of choice from 215 up to 500...some people use 46" at the lower alts but having been the victim of a 46" doing the hesi on me on more than one occasion i dont even own one any more.I do however jump a normally aspirated troll and a mojo240...both of which dont really need a 46" to drag em out...based on my limited experience and what ive seen. on the terminal pc issue i use a 32" f111 fine mesh with external toggle for 8 seconds and up and a 36" ZP internal toggle for the 4 to 8 second range.all of these use a wide mesh slider..both in Baffin and Norway i experienced very comfortable openings with these configurations. anyone using a slidergate who could give me some feedback on opening impedence would be a good thread to start. http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

10 metres is 33 feet if you look at the freefall charts on the Apex BASE site that should show you that a 2 second delay will take you past the shelf and into the overhung section assuming you dont need that much extra height to make a certain landing area then that delay from that height is acceptable in my humble oppinion. 80 metres is 260 feet less say 40 feet for the delay and 120 feet for the opening that gives you roughly 100 feet to play with, then you factor in pilot chute hesitation, off headings, neuro sensory overload blah blah blah and it will be a jump that could go ok but may go very very wrong. if youre not entirely happy then go find another object....there are plenty more in the world. http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

nice thoughts nick and as ever they have an air of the total answer....well mate....now we have a crossroads that internally we have to llook at.....does the ethics culture turn us into these nanny state products you are talking about or is there a line in between....im pretty wasted now but that was the only thing that stuck out...another quick one...do you really care that much mate...in 40 years time we will be dead and BASE 1776 will be saying....look guys its really uncool to wingsuit the freedom tower in rush hour on memorial day. http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

im interested in seeing people dont get ripped off...base jumping has come that far...peoples footage goes into stock footage libraries now mate...there have been several progs here in europe that have paid jumpers nothing...have seen my stuff sold for squat...everyone knows their footage has a value and im sure you are a nice straight up guy im just reminding people to think twice before they send dv tapes in the post to someone they dont really know...especially based on your...aerials are getting boring slant. http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

lovely idea mate...dont doubt your intentions but how about they send you a time coded cdr with a licence agreement then if the stuff hits the spot they can send you a dv tape....nudge nudge wink wink http://www.extreme-on-demand.com
