I have drown a cordless phone in the clothes washer before. *mental note, after talking on the phone, do not throw your phone in the laundry basket, then do laundry* I took it back to Best Buy and told them it didn't work anymore (totally true) and they replaced it.

Here is a pic from my first one that was done at Quincy a few years ago, I have done a handful since. It was the best ride of my life (thanks Rod!). So much fun -

You've got my vote -
I haven't had a land line for about 3 years and have not had a problem. We use a cable modem for the internet and my cell phone is Cingular ( i was with AT&T and decided to stick with them through the merger, so far so good).

Yeah, Congratulations!! What a huge weight lifted off of your shoulders. Have fun celebrating with the manatae

Kewl for you! They let us go at 2:00pm here, unfortunately I am still here though! Too much work to do to leave early

You were gone? HA, just kidding!!

We jump weather permitting on the weekends. Either Skydive Tecumseh or Skydive Napoleon, they both have 182's for the winter. And I think most people feel the same way about handling their family around the holidays so I am sure people will be up for jumping. Also, we always try to get a New Years Day jump in, no matter how cold it is. Jumping on New Years is a great way to start the year

I get service in certain areas at the dz. But, I have not been out there since the merger, and yesterday I past through a spot in ann arbor that is normally a dead zone and my call did not get dropped and my phone call did not get interrupted at all. I think partially it has to do with my phone, I use to have a little Nokia 3360 and got a great signal but then I bought a Motorola flip phone (POS) and ever since then my reception has not been as great.

I think it is pretty close to being a done deal. I received an email from Cingular the other day, I haven't gotten a chance to really read it yet but here is the link http://www.newcingular.com And thank you everyone for your responses, I really appreciate it . I am definately going to look into Cingular more instead of Sprint.
-
I am currently an AT&T customer and was planning on switching to Sprint in the next month or so (mostly for their Sprint to Sprint calling and after 7 pm nights). I don't like AT&T's coverage, my calling plan was 'ok' and my phone sucks (motorola POS). But I have already noticed since Cingular and AT&T have joined a better signal in places I use to not be able to talk at all. It appears they have a huge coverage area, rollover minutes and customer to customer calling. So I was wondering what other peoples experiences have been with Cingular, I live in Michigan if that matters at all.

:3:0 Went to the neighboring dz to get a few jumps in on Saturday since all of our planes are getting mtx done. It was a bit chilly for me (42 or something degrees) but since it felt like I hadn't jumped in forever, somehow I didn't notice the temp. Yeah, I got the whuffo dust off! Had some fun jumps with peeps I don't normally jump with and gave someone their first sitfly dock . Sunday I spent 17 hours at work 9:30 AM to 3:30 AM on Monday morning (and was back to work by 10 AM on Monday). Which really sucked and hope I don't have to do that anytime soon again.

Skydive Tecumseh End of the Year Party Oct 30th
Chrissay replied to Chrissay's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Well, the plane and some staff are heading to Mexico. Other than that, I'm hibernating!! But seriously, I think some people maybe heading to Florida, some maybe heading to AZ to get some jumps in this winter, no big group trip has been planned. -
I own one of her pieces and you are right, she does very beautiful work!
