I took one ride back down in the C-182 this weekend. I am all for a free plane ride but I would much rather land under canopy Greenie in training.

:7:1 7 great jumps 5 out of the 182... and 2 out of the caravan!! 1 case of beer owed for first jump out of the caravan. Greenie in training.

I have a feeling that chute wouldn't like the fire too much. Have you shot a potato gun at night yet? The flame will shoot all the way ou the end of the barrel and if there is a hole all the way through the potato like you suggested it would go right through to the chute. Greenie in training.

Yeah you can't do anything about the weather I was worried I wasn't going to get any jumps in this weekend judging by the forecast but I ended up getting 2 saturday, 3 sunday, and 2 monday. Finally got to jump out of the caravan and 60 second freefalls are the best thing ever Greenie in training.

Sounds great! I know what you mean, I had a few firsts this weekend as well. Did my first poised exit and also did a 2 way with my instructor which was a huge confidence booster. Greenie in training.

Congratulations on the standup they feel great don't they!? By major issue what do you mean? Did and instructor have to "assist" you in letting go of the strut or give you a shove out the door? Greenie in training.

I was planning on jumping tomorrow and sunday, but they are calling for T-Storms all day tomorrow at my dropzone. Greenie in training.

Eeep!! I have that jump coming up this weekend. I have been preparing for it by using a footstool at my house to practice my arch. Hopefully I will do fine. Good luck, I am sure some people much more qualified to give advice will post and help you out. Greenie in training.

I'm a cessna kid. My sucky exits were at 10k, and I was recovered by 9. Cessna guy here as well, my sucky exits were at 4k though Greenie in training.
