My job allows me to be on dz.com alot and it pays allright, but we have been working alot of saturdays lately which really cuts into my skydiving time since I work 2-11. Greenie in training.

Since they are only breaking two laws generally at any given time and not riding wheelies (which a majority of harleys are not capable of doing without pulling a trailer) they are better than sportbike riders somehow? Idiots like that are exactly the reason police like to hastle motorcyclists. However giving that as an example of the normal sportbike rider is like saying the hell's angels are your average harley riders. Greenie in training.

I have been riding dirtbikes since I was 3 years old and have had plenty of spills on them, but no, I have never dropped a sportbike or any streetbike for that matter yet. I am sure it will happen at one point or another though, which is why I always wear at the very least a riding jacket, gloves, and a helmet. I am a firm believer in the old saying that there are people who have dropped their bikes and people who will drop their bikes. Yes, I was referring to my general area, mainly the two counties close to me. Sorry, looking back at my original post I realize how confrontational it was. I just get really sick of being lumped in with every other sportbike rider out there. Sure, there are idiots who ride sportbikes, but there are just as many that ride harley's. Greenie in training.

Welcome to the forums! Read up on all the info you can stand here, but remember to listen to what your instructor says when the time comes, not anything you picked up from a bunch of people you don't know on the internet. Care to explain that statement a little better? I have been riding sportbikes since I turned 17 and have never layed one down let alone wrapped it around a pole. Also I don't know about where you live but where I live I know of two alchohol related motorcycle fatalaties in the last year and they were both harley riders. There have been ZERO sportbike fatalaties here in the same timeframe. I can only assume you were refering to the squids that ride with no gear in shorts without even a shirt on. Sure that is trouble waiting to happen but don't lump us all into one stereotype. Greenie in training.

I would actually think it probably tastes pretty good considering I love glazed doughnuts. However drinking it while eating glazed doughnuts would probably be a bit nasty. Greenie in training.

Congrats! I beleive my corm landing was around jump 8 so you are ahead of schedule . Luckily everyone had just been joking about landing in the corn directly before that load so I knew to flare when my feet hit the top of the corn lol. Greenie in training. -
