He was attempting a BASE jump. I think he deserves to be put on the list. Even though the skydive is actually what killed him it was only the means to an end - the BASE jump. Greenie in training.

Yeah dude definately do what you are comfortable with. I just wanted you to know there are other options. I didn't realize until someone showed me and then I was like damn why haven't I been doing this from the start. Greenie in training.

Ask around at your DZ it is a different way of packing that generally makes it much easier to get your canopy in the bag. Some people love it some hate it. I would recomend at least checking into it, I know I find it a much easier method than PRO packing which is what I initially learned. The people I know that don't like it are that way because you can pack yourself a full linetwist if you forget a step but if you do it right it is much easier I think. One of my friends calls me every saturday while I am stuck at work to let me know about all the fun he is having at the DZ. He even gets me a HIM! while he is on the phone it is so cruel. Greenie in training.

Yeah generally they are big events though. They made little flying saucers on ziplines and everything at that particular event it was tons of fun. Also went to one that was like an invasion complete with a lake and boats with paint cannons. Greenie in training.

Yeah I left out theme games in my list! I love those! Went to a field by St.Louis forget the name but they had a big alien invasion game that lasted 2 days it was a blast. Greenie in training.

If you were willing to make the sacrifice to go serve for your country my hat is off to you. I wanted to serve but they are so picky anymore, I failed my color vision test at MEPS by 2 points and all of a sudden there were only like 3 paper pusher jobs available to me with a perfect score on my ASVAB. If you are motivated I bet you can find an inline filter to put on the water line that goes to the fridge so you can be lazy and let it make ice. Greenie in training. -
Those games are fun, I am more of a speedball kinda guy myself though. I am all for crawling around in the woods but a good fast game of speedball really gets me going. Greenie in training.

I recently went out and played after a long break. When I was in HS I worked on a paintball field and played with a tourney team called the fallen angels. The other guys on the team were older and had no problems making it to the big, out of town tournaments (florida) but it got to a point I had to chose school or the team and I chose school. The only one I still keep in touch with is the one that owned the field, and he now plays for shocktech. As for my opinion on guns... I was a hardcore cocker fan then, but then the angel stepped up and improved their gun a lot, it quickly became my favorite (had a black LCD angel). I have yet to shoot a DM5 but have heard from several people that they love them. I thought about getting a gun again but it seems all my spare money goes into skydiving. Greenie in training.
