    the quality has always depended on the senior trainer , his staff.....and the attitude of the candidate . video editing ? a kid with a phone can produce acceptable footage nowdays. im no handycam fan but it has knocked an enormous hole in the outside camera market...buses ,packing and marketing (answering the phone) seem to be the predominant result . best way to get a reliable opinion is talk to the dzs who have taken grads

    Numbers on canopies do not necessarily reflect their true size........Look for container and canopy volume as indicted by the manufacturer...Or talk to your rigger if unsure

    The IPC ( International Parachute Commission ) used to publish the stats for fatalities and injuries made available by participating countries..........My last copy is somewhat dated but is probably still presented at the commission .Check under IPC Technical and Safety subcommittee report

    The parachute is correctly fulfilling its design criteria,ie slow, soft openings. Stow excess brakeline Stop yanking on your L/H rear riser unless you are avoiding traffic...... How many jumps have you put on it in 3 months? What did you jump before?

    Listened to Gregs slider account at a PIA symposium . Interesting to note that he wanted to all it a diaper but the name was already in use or coming into use as we know it today.Very much an unsung hero..........Sad to hear of his troubles
