  1. Reading this thread over a number of years has been very entertaining and informative. With that said, I've been thinking about the type of character and for what reasons people keep secrets. I came up with a very short list. 1. Dead people don't directly tell secrets...although through their death secrets may be told. Example...Lee Harvey Oswald Other examples 2. People with a great sense of responsibility and loyalty. Example...Personal confidants, high government employees and officials...Secretary of State, NSA, CIA, FBI. 3. People with personal secrets once told would destroy their lives or lives of loved ones. Examples...J Edgar Hoover, Lance Armstrong, John Edwards, William Mark Felt, Sr.(Deep Throat) Interestingly Mr. Felt lived until his death in Santa Rosa CA., the same town as one of my favorite Cooper suspects...Sheridan "Pete" Peterson. Now back to this thread... BK doesn't fit one of these categories...in fact as delusional as some get on this thread, BK undoubtedly is the champion of Cooper delusions...he wants to be a part of the Cooper saga so bad it's affected his reality. At least he doesn't think he's the "joker"...and when put to the test..backs down in a big hurry...using the excuse that he can't repeat things he has said on this thread to a news person...guess what BK...you've already said more than enough... By the way Robert...this is "Hotel California" you can check out but you can never leave... eta: Something else I meant to add...that apparently Cooper does fall into one of these categories #3 for sure with no firm evidence for #1 and #2. hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  2. Are you getting a finders fee...movie residuals? This will be entertaining for sure! hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  3. You bring up a good point...those corporations are for profit...what is a corporations ONLY purpose?... to make a profit for their share holders! Any for profit health care industry will not meet the the needs of the people when health insurance corporations, to make a profit, means not paying benefits... Hospitals for profit work like meat factory production lines, doing as many surgeries a day as they can and discharging patients too soon...and if the corporation has a monopoly in the region, they can fix costs which can put competition out of business. Is this anyway to keep us healthy? You bet it is... A corporations only obligation is to make a profit for their share holders! it's come to this... Think about it...!!! hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  4. Yeah, me too...when I think about the Russian Migs with Rolls Royce jet engine copies shooting down our guys in Korea. No need for spies...we just give em our tech... Ain't the World just a marvelous place...??? hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  5. This..is how rumors get known as facts!!! Come on Robert99!!!...it was Petey that was in Nepal... even I know that...!!! And...my dad was Cooper......he actually jumped from planes and killed people... Trained and paid by the US army... I have proof and it didn't go poof... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  6. Just got caught up...pretty fast 11 pages skipping knoss, blevins and jo... to add...my dad was 503rd in WWII...he jumped with a Browning .30 cal machine gun...his buddy jumped with tripod and ammo. He once told me a funny story about a road march they were on... They all marched/ran with all their combat gear...my dad knowing he would have to carry his heavy weapon cut off a broom stick and put black shoe polish on it and replaced the barrel with it. Towards the end of their march his sergeant felt bad about him having to carry his machine gun the whole way offered to carry it for him...my dad said no...but the Sargent insisted on it so my father handed it over. As the sergeant grabbed it and expected a much heavier weapon almost threw the gun over his shoulder. After some smart ass remark handed it back to my dad to carry the rest of the way. attached is what I believe he jumped with... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan

  8. Blevins...just because you tag with "quotes"... THIS "Ha, ha...those idiots..." It is still YOU...calling us idiots... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  9. Matt, don't even bother talking to such a "touched" individual...although he does give me great laughs...so his posts do have a function. Cooper did exit somewhere between Seattle and Reno..."I'll certify that for a dollar". hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  10. I would say that considering the circumstantial evidence, Christiansen is definitely my suspect. fixed it for ya... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  11. What? No "Flight Trash?" Well...we're not passengers... so we're either cargo or "ejectable ballast"... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  12. Oldies function better on nitrous oxide..... Sparky Isn't that part of high altitude jump training so you can function at high altitudes...??? I've been to 25k without oxygen...was supposed to have it...dumb ass who set it up!!! I opened a skyvan door by myself@25k...I keep telling myself...it's only nitrous...ha ha... can't tell the rest of the story... I'll be 60 next year...and hope to be jumping. GOOD JOB...sorry...thought you gray hairs couldn't hear me... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan

  14. If you're ever in Lodi...in the packing hanger...look up...the very first student I jump mastered...the pilot's son...landed that blown out Unit III. From the plane it looked like he was flying two bed sheets... It worked for him...but I wouldn't recommend it. hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  15. Classic quote...pretty much sums up many posters here... on another note...I'm going to contact a relative of mine who grew up on the river...and ask him what his theory is on the money find... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  16. I actually used to get paid to do it...some here I'll do for free... On the marks...it looks to me like some kind of stamping to give the solder a better grip at the attachment point...FWIW hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  17. No, I totally understand. You don't get it. Bob I've read just about everything you write Bob...not that I necessarily believe it...but it makes a great "conspiracy theory"/b movie...but I respect your determination and patients with us other posters who constantly give you shit over what you post. just sayin...you've been very respectful in your explanations...even though you never bring solid evidence to the table...now if...and that's a big if...it's the truth...I can understand your reluctance to give out too much info...just sayin... ...but throw us a bone....!!!... hangdiver OK. Ask some relevant questions and I will tell you the truth, if I know, providing legal rights for personal harm to participating parties. You pick the subjects. A lot of this stuff can still pop out of my memory if prompted. I found myself in the middle of a sentence about McCord AFB before I realized what I was saying. Shocking shit.. Have a go. Let's see what happens. 1. What year did the alleged training start/finish? 2.Where did the alleged training take place? 3.What was the Director/XO's name? 4.Who gave him his orders? 5.How were you personally picked as part of "the team"? 6.What criteria was used to pick the other alleged members...Mac, Duane and others? Thanks in advance... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  18. No, I totally understand. You don't get it. 19. I have some questions about the Reno FBI's initial entry into flight 305's cabin... Did they have dogs? I believe I remember the crew getting food in Seattle...right or wrong? If they did order food that means the galley was empty and it just may have been the garbage strewn about. I don't remember where...but I believe I read that the flight crew tried maneuvers to get the hijacker off the steps...that could be a total fabrication as I can't remember where that rumor/factoid came from. Sounds like a skydiver food fight...... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  20. Blevins...you have an agenda...promoting your own suspect...like the others that we all know...who like you...have started with a favorite suspect and tried to fit the circumstantial evidence to that particular individual. IMHO...Bruce is the only writer I've heard here that is investigating the evidence to find the most feasible suspect. I still say it was my dad...... I think I have as much evidence as anyone else that he did it...I found a tie and cuff set with a missing tie clasp. On another subject...I just got my knee scoped so my jump with dad's helmet and silver jump wings is looking doable this summer...I know...who gives a shit on this forum...???...but this is DZ ya know... here's where I've been... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  21. I never asked the locals about that...but it does look like it would be hard to miss... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  22. There is also a lot of water around the area...I know...I know...a very small % of the area is water...but...a parachute seeks obstacles on it's own... just ask Amazon... Well that's all I got for now...it was indeed a great experience meeting all of you that showed up for the "Cooper Convention"... There is a vast amount of various terrain...from rugged mountains..."The Death Woods"...to cow pastures...to big lakes... I guess it really does matter exactly where Cooper landed...parachute or no parachute...whether he survived or not... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  23. Here's some more... anyone here watch PBR...???... Ty Murray...ring a bell...???... I couldn't resist...the writing's on the wall...ha...ha... oh...by the way...the food is excellent... stop by and talk to the locals about Cooper while you eat and have a beer. Raz interviewed a few local gals about who would look out of place around Amboy...a guy in a suit or a guy in camo with a rifle...and who would they be more likely to stop and give a ride...???... Not the suit guy!!!...the guy dressed in camo with a rifle!!! Well whadya know...Cooper didn't dress for the occasion I guess... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  24. Well...everyone thinks their dad...uncle...brother...mother...was Cooper... and the weather was suicidal... I've actually had to knock 2 inches of ice off the step and strut to climb out in my camera position for a tandem video in the middle of December. I still have the video...somewhere...with "Captain Jack" flying that souped up little Cessna...coming out of the sky like a fucking anvil...with me on the step...tandem in the door..."Captain Jack" screaming ..."get the fuck out"!!!... I can still see it in my minds eye..."Captain Jack"...Screaming...pullin his ball cap tight with his right hand before slamming the throttle to the firewall... He had to fly around for 30 minutes to get the ice to melt so he could land... But guess what...???... We all survived the freefall...through icing conditions... Painful...yes...fatal...no... Okay...here's some pics of "Cooper Country..." and that's all for this post... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
  25. Thank you for the entertainment... I'm working on raspberrymoon's and my trip deep into Cooper country complete with pics and maps. I'm still in the process of moving...It's been quite a challenge with my torn up knee... I have more shit than a man with intestinal flu...... I'm glad to hear Sluggo's healing...keep the stress level down Sluggo...stay away from DZ while you heal...I guess he's already figured that out... hangdiver "Mans got to know his limitations" Harry Callahan
