I started off using a Bone head helmet and found that I could not get a good look at my canopy after opening as I could not lift my head up enough, helmet was resring on top of the Strong rig. Changed to a frap, problem solved and i feel safer. It also takes up less space in the plane and i can take it off under canopy to feel the wind and hear the student when they talk to me. TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

Here is another question from South Africa. I am jumping a Strong system with a set 400. I have now 63 Tandem Jumps and enjoying them. I have one problem that has sudenly appeared. On a perfectly stable freefall at 5500 feet i go for my primary, as i pull it feels as if i am going into head down and then the canopy starts to inflate and my and the pass feet almost pass our heads. What am i doing? is it body possition or is my pass harness incorrect. I have corrected this by backsliding and pushing my arms forward on dumping, but this does not feel right. CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME OUT. TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

Need some advice and help. I am using a PC101 with a kenlock v-30 uv lense(is this lense really needed) with a stepup 30-30 to a Sony x0.6 wide conversion lense. I think it is the uv lense that gives me condensation in winter at altitude....... Is this setup okay for tandem video? My video is cool, but thought it might get better with other setups.... Also... i use this setup to film solo's, RW formations and skysurfing and the od student progression... is this okay? Lastly. Can someone explain to me the diffs between wide angle lense and a wide conversion lense. Does a .6 give you a wider pic than a .2 wide angle I have asked a couple of guy's locally but am still confused. TQ still learning

I have been asked by members at my club to start a junior team. Where can i get some ideas and a training programe to aid the team. Our club is situated far from any really experienced RW jumpers. Most of my jumps are tandem camera and the rest free fall progression instruction. Articles on 4way instruction etc. TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

Thanks for the help on my last question. Here is another. I am using a Sony PC101 and a sony wide angle with a uv lense and stepup ring. In winter or cold weather ,during freefall my lense fogs up. I don't know if it is the wide angle or the uv filter. What can i do to stop this. The fogging is a circle right in the middle of my picture right over the tandem pass face TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

What is the best way to save recorded footage for further use. I have been keeping my DV tapes but feel that i am wasting tape as there is often a lot of wastwd footage on the tapes. I have also tried on CD but find that i can save more on a tape to use later for editing on comp. How can i save more footage on CD TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

Get yourself a two audio channel mixer. connect your cam audio cables RCA jacks(red and white) to mixers channel one .Connect your portable cd player audio cables(RCA jacks) to the mixers channel 2. connect your cam video cable(yellow RCA) to your VCR. Connect from your mixer using red and white RCA jacks to the corresponding jacks on your VCR. Always use your cam fader option(normal fader) so you can start recording on VCR with a black screen that will then fade into video. Have cam on pause(black screen) Push record on VCR ,push play on CD player, fade audio in with mixer and push play on cam with remote remote( you can now use slowmotion forward and back as you please.AT end of footage push pause on cam ,fade music out on mixer then pause VCR-- video done(I do this under 10min for tandem video's) Hope here is some help, and not to long a post, cheers better stop TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com
