Cool was expecting this kinda feedback. You are still flying the tandem and after good briefing with your student you can anticipate there actions.All sidespins I have seen and been in was from big arch from exit. My feeling is that I have built up speed,both our bodies are together and on arching I am in control.You have more than enough time to prevent a sidespin This is not the norm for me but if I am confident in the student,we will go and fly TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

I have close to a 1000 tandems and a couple of jumps back have started leaving the plane in a tumble instead of the big arch,after pass have requested summies,so I experimented. We do around 2 t0 3 and then I tap their shoulders and we both arch. boom stable.gives great handcam footage. It feels for me that when I leave in a big arch it takes longer to get the tandem to drogue throw and with the tumble exit it feels quicker and, well, easier and more fun for all.I still feel safe and am still flying the tandem and always aware what the student is doing. We stay on heading and iliminates spins for me. not that I have had many. Would like to hear your comments TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

HC21 with blackeye lense,nice and light,you forget that you have a cam on your wrist.The cam and lense combo gives me good full body shots.I get our faces in and you can see our legs ,change angle and get face and drogue TQ I am me and you are you, so deal with it!!! www.skydivepe.com

No offence taken.I will never say which is better between the two forms of video.I being a TI and vidiot, I can not.My opinion is that both have there place and have to be looked as as such. If I had to eat (and was a TM) I would try to get a job at that those dz's...except that they only go to 7-8 k agl. and advertise 15k, last I looked. I don't like answering questions that I have to lie about. I couldn't be a happy employee at a place like that. ---------------------- I agree with you there.I would not work for such a DZ either.Used to be in that situation and now work for a DZ where I am Happy. I think it also depends on the size of the DZ and availability of outside vidiots.We are a small DZ Tandem ops an all three of us TI's are also outside vidiots.We are lucky that our handcam videos are not bad and our customers are always happy.If there is a blunder we will do what we can to have them leave happy.You can make a handcam video look very good and it takes practice to get the shots while flying the Tandem,once you find your place cool videos come.I however still think that outside video will have its place.With hand cam you need fewer people and a small DZ can do more tandems. I still miss doing outside video,but bills need to be paid
