Woo Hooo how freakign exciting is it when you know the weathers going to be great, the money has been stashed away, and all you have to do is get through the night untill your next day of skydiving. It's been a long 2 weeks. .:skip

Hey I'm planning a Disney Vacation with the family for October, and I was thinking about sneaking away and spending one day in the tunnel and one in the air. What is the closest DZ to Disney world or the Orlando International AirPort. Thanks. .:skip

Hey lindsey: did you actually go to the Floabama bar? My family owns a beach condo in Gulf Shores and the Florabama is lots of wild fun. .:skip

I didn’t really even think about fitting the reserve into the bag. Thanks for the heads up. .:skip

I'm purchasing some new gear soon and have decided on the standard Javelin / Sabre combo; an Odyssey J3 and Sabre 2 170 to be more exact. I was wondering if anyone has put a 150 in a J3 and if there was any problems with the combo, just for future reference. Oh the rig will also have a PD 176 reserve, which I would ideally not replace if I ever downsized to the 150 main. Thanks for any advise. .:skip

Man I am so freaking high on skydiving this evening. Had 2 of my verry best and verry funnest skydives today, met Slappie on the way to altitude, and got signed off of student status. 18 jumps under my belt and Ill tell you what I am SO glad I decided to do this. What a fucking privdlidge and accomplishment. I guess a few times over the last month I have questioned my motives for jumping out of planes, but fuck that, this shit is so much fun.. Hands up to Chris Miller and the rest of the spaceland staff and skydivers. .:skip

Waka Waka!!! Yeah burning man definitely looks like something else. It could be a great experience, not only in a crazy festive way (Don’t get me wrong, bring the festivities on), but a new communal interaction kind of way. One full week in the desert, everything you need you bring, no vendors (beer trucks), little electricity, and when it is all over burning man just disappears without a trace, a huge collective cleanup leaving the desert looking exactally like it was before the event. .:skip

Yeah I figured it was not an easy adventure, something left to thoes who know what they are dooing and have been around for quite some time. Just curious! Definately. I'm hoping to make it to the man in 2003, allready working on a few ideas for my habitat. .:skip

I may be mistaken, but I think I once read a story or heard from someone about a jump into Burnign Man. Does anyone know anything about this? I am planning a trip to my first Burning Man fest within the next couple years and can think of no grander enterance. .:skip

I'd say you did the right thing and have nothing to worry about. If this guy is with a girl, whom is going to be upseat about him picking up on another woman, well that doesnt show much for his character, and I say fuck em. guys can be devious characters, I know from my personal experiance of beeing a guy. .:skip

When you say 4 line kite, are you talking about steering lines? I recently bought a Ram Air Kite and it has 2 steering lines, and as I researched more and more I found out I know nothing about kites, but this thing is hella a-lotta fun to fly. I will definitely be sporting a 6 x 2 foot canopy during the next wind hold I have to sit through. .:skip .:skip

Hm: this is my first time posting weekend numbers. 2:2:? 2 Humps 2 Jumps (AFP 11 and 12) Firsts: being a toddler in the sport there were many. On my first jump of the weekend I opened up in some big HUGE thick puffy industrial waste (first time) and it was both amazing and kind of freaky at the same time. I was like "hello, if anyone is below me I'm coming out now". Lots of fun. Went back out Saturday to finish up AFP but the winds were pretty rough and my Girl Friend was not about to wait around with me all day, so we went to the zoo. This stuff is just too much fun. .:skip

I finished one this morning, 3 to go. Then summer school.. .:skip

Hey I went through the same exit problems over the past few weeks. It took me like 6 exits to get it right. some tips I recieved that seamed to have helped. ARCH ( I guess youve allready heard this) Look up at the plane as you fall away TRUST your arch (put your dick to the durt and keep it there) If you start kicking it's all over I guess it was a mental thing with me becuase when I finally rode the hill down I just stuck to my arch without kicking. I have verry few jumps so I barley know what I'm talking about but leaving the plane is an extreem airgasm with forces pulling and pushing at diffrent directions and it just takes a little practice to learn to ride it out into stable falling teritory. hope this helps.. .:skip
