I called to book a DZ for our Team to train at, they where very supportive telling me about the turbine aircraft and great facilites (having been to the DZ, I thought this was, I was suprised how fast it recovered from the death of its owner. I was suprised that the new ownership had not mentioned a full time turbine as apposed to an Aircraft schedule that traded from a Cessna to a king air.) Boy did they change there tune when they found out it was a Military Team and we would pay our contract buy military credit card. I was told I must have miss dialed. When I hit redial do you want to have 3 guess who answered the phone? First two dont count. Skyride know how illegal they are and that is why they have started 2 other companies, so when one goes the business wont stop. But the FBI and TBI now know that too. Not have money invovled. A DZO asked me if I could take a passenger over their limit (220lbs) I said how much and the person was 240, OK I can handle that (I have had bigger and the system is still in limits plus a good wind). Your gonna have to ask the good swoopers about this. I am not a good swooper, I don't use my brakes on the Riot except to finish my landing, other wise I do all the manuevering by risers. While jumping the FCI Riot 107, I did do several Clear and pulls at 14K in Xenia Ohio and tried to spin the canopy up with radicle riser/toggle input, it took a bit of work, but I did get 2 complete 360's a couple of times. Red and I spoke about the C and D lines and we (with other testers inpute too) came to the conclusion that they do hold the load but, yes there is that much drag to create a bow on normal full flight, and it is more pronounced when using the fronts and holding toggles at the same time tends to unload the D's even more as mentioned earlier. Yeah, it was the "West and Europe" that screwed this up. Turkey and Syria have been afraid of the Kurds for 50+ years. When I got to Northern Iraq 4 years ago all the things Billvon posted already existed.
