Limits are; C-182 and 10,500' AGL. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
Michigan Suit Solves Lightweight's Floating Problem

Oh yeah, I forgot that part, the second cat has to move the centers to the ends and it has to be done with a verticle 540 transistion. OK GQ? Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
I don't know any thing about wing suits and it never really "grabbed me", but the night flight under a full moon sounds cool, it "grabs me". Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Michigan Suit Solves Lightweight's Floating Problem
matthewcline replied to elightle's topic in Relative Work
I have 2 Tetris and 2 earlier Mich Comp Suits. All 4 have different jobs. 1 is a nylon front and spandex fore arms for real fast falling belly jumps, 1 is a poly front and spandex arms for slower jumps, these are the two older suits. My 2 Testris, 1 is a poly front spandex arm full on Tetris Comp for RW and I do tandems and coaching in it. The other Tetris has sleeves built in for a little slower fall rate and is team colors. The 101 jumps seem two work real well for less experienced like this; Exit a Meeker, the centers drop the arm grips and switch to a non-cheated cat with the jumper they have their right hand on. One pair drops the left hand grip on the center and the whole thing elongates to a non-cheated cat. One of the centers keys a dropped grip and ALL drop the same grip while the ends close the donut. once closed they just reverse to the cat again. Viola 1-0-1! But for your skill level every thing should show complete seperation and a 540 should be in between each number. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
I have done a few, most of them are work related but every now and then I do do them for fun. They can be fun, and they can be hairy too. I will be doing some semi work related ones in Paris Tn on the 14th, any one want to come out? Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Michigan Suit Solves Lightweight's Floating Problem
matthewcline replied to elightle's topic in Relative Work
Ed, No not a light weight but whe npeople ask about a suit and they are a light weight I would like to know more than "go slick and add lead" as the answer. I was in Xenia recently and had the all Black Tetris, and the black Tetris with gold and white stripes in front of the grippers. I think you where ther at least one of those weekends organizing (?). Did you receive your 10 year tenure award?
matthewcline replied to SkydiveMO's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yes about the half way point through year 11. I figured it had to do with the computer upgrades going on at the time. Since I didn't ask for it and had not really payed to much attention to it at the time itwas anice suprise. I will frame it one day with the 1k, 2k, 12 hour, 24 hour, etc certs, or make a album full of them, since I don't plan on quiten' till the assisted care Nurse quits! You could add a lightly loaded FCI Sentry to that list too. It is a good all around canopy and not a bad price. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

I know, I know. The little DZ I jump a bit at has 2 EZ's that are 10 year, 900 jump canopies and they are still in awesome shape. The wear seems nominal over an all ZP canopy. Sure they last longer but buy how much? and how much is lost over line sets (yeah I know they should all be relined on schedule but, who we follen?) since the ZP canpoies seem to be more finicky over bad lines. And you know this how? Seriously Bragg isn't bad, take the world tour at Choo Choo's (if it is still there) but bring aspirin to kill the hang over. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Cool deal! Two AS Ladies! Is she going to do 8-way too? If she does, and they win, that will be a real cool deal and again fire up the dabate (no pun intended) over men vs women in skydiving! OK so what is the USAPT going to do? (I know a little off topic but since I responded the thread is dead any way) Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
