    I had a strange skydiving dream a few nights ago too! Anyways, in the dream, my old Supervisor was flying me and a bunch of skydiver friends in a helicopter; we couldn't all fit, so a few of us just hung onto the helicopter on the ride to altitude! Then, I noticed I didn't have an altimeter, so Spanky says, "It's okay. She's already done her first solo--she should be able to judge what altitude she's at." So I jumped, and my canopy opened right before I landed on the roof of a building. It was in a resort area, with palm trees, lots of fancy hotels, the beach.... maybe it's sign I'm supposed to....hmmm,this dream's got me! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    I know how you feel man, when I go home to South Dakota for Christmas break I wanna get a few jumps in, I either should be getting my A around that time or be pretty close to getting it. I asked the guys if the dz will still be open and they said as long as it aint too cold.Hm, I wonder what their definition of cold is??? I dislike South Dakota wintertime, I would much rather be hot anyplace than be FREEZING cold. Anyways, hopefully the weather in Oklahoma will hold out enough for me to jump. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    0:1:1 2nd solo jump,which was back at my first dz, Skydive Adventures in Minnesota. Was great to see the guys again and see the good ol' Minnesota/South Dakota corn. My jump didn't go as well, spent most of it trying to stop my spin from my uneven legs! ....but it was cool to see Kevin freefall past me and deploy while I was already under canopy. But man, it was friggid cold up there!!! I had gloves on and it was probably 40's-50's on the ground, but my hands still froze. Had my first ride down w/ the plane, 2 experienced guys jumped, but me and another guy stayed because it was getting way too dark... I'm not ready for a night jump yet!

    Of course I know what I want to do with the rest of my life...jump! Actually, one of my goals is to work in communications and help everyone improve their relationships, by helping them improve their communication skills. I'm actually very content with my life and I KNOW it's going the right direction.

    no dude, this week dragged on and on and on. Was on the computer 24-7, typing papers, studying for midterms, researching.... but now midterms are over, and I am looking forward to relaxing back home...oh wait, I gotta do a ton of homework, and work overnight for one week. I will have money to buy clothes though... Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    Sarah: age 22 Junior at school, Organizational/Interpersonal Communications, with a minor in Recreation Administration. Dont ask me to explain it... first jump:one week after I turned 18, out of a tiny cessna in Minnesota most memorable: since I only have a few, that would have to be my second tandem, when I saw BC in the air smiling back at me and a second guy docked on me and my tm, almost got a kiss pass Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    Steve, you guys are inspiring!!!! Good job at staying in love for 30+ years, I know it's hard work but it's inspiring. When are you guys gonna invite me over for supper huh?     I spent the rest of the day (the jump was at 0930) feeling really grumpy. The fact that I didn't enjoy it (because I didn't do a perfect jump) annoyed me even more, and I got more grumpy. *** hey dude, relax! No one is forcing you to jump, so if you dont get enjoyment out of it then why do it? On the other hand, dont get discouraged just because you didnt perform as well as you expected to. I sometimes get discouraged if my jumps dont go perfectly, because I want to be a really good flyer. If you really want to do jump, because it's FUN, than go for it! Things will get better as you get more experience, as Im sure everyone on here will tell you.Let us know how it goes... Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
