  1. Canucks... sucked... (but you knew that already)
  2. Judging from the thread title, I'd suggest The Daily Mail wasn't the only one. "And what’s the message that has incited all this interest? Well, Lake wants people not to jump to conclusions when it comes to women. In short, she wants to stop what she calls “slut shaming,” the act of judging women (whether scantily clad or completely covered) without having the complete story." 3. (Not directed at GDon, just that I'm next in line behind him) Here's what some from outside your borders are saying about this type of, (dare I say it), utterly intellectually infirmed tripe: http://www.edmontonjournal.com/mobile/news/world-news/Latest+American+conspiracy+theory+claims+Newtown+mass/7823274/story.html Really, can you people pass a constitutional amendment to deny access to keyboards from these people? Please?
  4. The guys still use Sectionals????? Hell, most I know have their noses buried in a magazine while they let the co-pilot "Auto" do the en-route flying stuff. Having said that, I think that's a great suggestion!
  5. From Natural Resources Canada: "Production of crude oil in Canada totalled 167.4 million m3 in 2010. Oil sands accounted for 51.9 percent of production, exceeding conventional sources for the first time. About two thirds of crude oil production is exported" Source: http://www.nrcan.gc.ca/statistics-facts/energy/895 The lion's share of Canadian fossil fuel exports are to the USA representing some 98.3% of total exports. Source: http://www.neb-one.gc.ca/clf-nsi/rnrgynfmtn/sttstc/crdlndptrlmprdct/stmtdcndncrdlxprttpdstn-eng.html#s2012 Canada remains the largest single supplier to the USA of fossil fuel, I think hovering around 18.5%. 6. Is there data somewhere that indicates how many Americans over the age of puberty are on prescription psyche med's at any given time comparative to other western populations? That might be thought-provoking.
  7. When it's too cold to jump up here in the Great White North, nothing beats snuggling up with a mink... FurCoat (7)
  8. Just my opinion but the door mod is unrelated to the suffix designation. Regardless though, you could give these guys a call... http://www.airxairframe.com/ One of the partners imported a 182N and then converted it for his new small skydive operation. AFAIK, his own design, his own tinbashing, and the LSTC through his own engineer. If you need an introduction Burke, send me a private note. John
  9. I've often wondered why there is so much reluctance in passing legislation for a line item veto. Many in your country seem to be hyper-critical of your Presidents, yet attempt effectively to limit much of their authority short of military adventures. From Wiki: "Starting with Ulysses S. Grant, every US president has asked congress to enact legislation granting the president line-item veto power but it was not until the Clinton presidency that Congress passed such legislation.[3] Although it was intended to control "pork barrel spending", the Line Item Veto Act of 1996 was held to be unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court in a 1998 ruling in Clinton v. City of New York. The court affirmed a lower court decision that the line-item veto was equivalent to the unilateral amendment or repeal of only parts of statutes and therefore violated the Presentment Clause of the United States Constitution. Before the ruling, President Clinton applied the line-item veto to the federal budget 82 times. Since then, the prospect of granting the President a line-item veto has occasionally resurfaced in Congress; either through a constitutional amendment[citation needed] or a differently-worded bill. Most recently, the House of Representatives passed a bill on February 8, 2012, that would have granted the President a limited line-item veto; however, the bill was not heard in the Senate." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line-item_veto#United_States

Look at the Act of Congress authorizing the application of "Expedited Removal". You are incorrect. Sigh... Here, read this. http://scholarship.law.georgetown.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1302&context=facpub Nice paper from Georgetown. The reality from my own situation says quite the opposite. But thank you for that. I'll be sure to ask my lawyers to forward this to the federal court who thus far have supported the position that no, foreign nationals do NOT enjoy constitutional protections under the application of Expedited Removal.

  13. Mandatory legislated nudity. Think about it... No more need for TSA or their belligerence. No more "Concealed" Weapons Permits required. No false-advertising in the pub courtesy of padded bras. Phosphates in fabric detergents would disappear. We'd know immediately which fat-bastards should be in the base. Ladies tennis would be a sport worth watching. The possibilities are ENDLESS!
  14. You are speaking of two entirely different posts. It was fun while it lasted and posting originals rather than just google results. (I'm shocked we didn't see more naked Tandem pics!) "MyPlane" (yes, really) Cessna 210 (but not my G/F)
  15. As does Widgeon, but as ladies are central to this game, or so I thought, she is properly attired (as it were) as the Captain... John

That other thread... about America's biggest problem? Was "lack of critical thinking" on the ballot?
  19. Well obviously that might be dependent on the cheque clearing.
  20. We haven't seen any of those Greenbacks. Perhaps you lost our address? We accept electronic-transfers...
