    Would your life have been so devoid had you been spending your time doing other things and talking to other people more recently related? That sentence implies that it makes my life devoid. That has nothing to do with it. mySpace, like alcohol, is not to make my life better. Both are just fun to me. And believe me, no one in my life is telling me that mySpace is more important to me than them. I just like seeing how people I knew in my past are doing. Do I have a strong desire to actually take interest? Not always. Sometimes I do. But, regardless, it is still interesting (because I like information) to see what they are doing, where they are, what they look like. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome.     This is the reason some people give that I least understand. I would never loose touch with a good friend. It's impossible to, unless one or both dont' care enough to make the effort.

    My major reason for mySpace is music. It never ends. All sorts of bands, signed, unsigned, popular, unknowns. Tons of new fresh music for me to peruse. And a few of my friends were those who I had no contact for. I would have never found them had I not stumbled across their profile. I can understand being unsafe, but the world is full of idiots who would just find some other way to expose themselves anyway. People have been doing it for years. Hell, I bet I could find information about most anyone here if I were willing to fork over a little cash for a background check. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

    Funny. Cause that sure SOUNDED bitter. And now I have to go hide under my covers because mySpace is UNSAFE!! I look at mySpace like the iPod: you have three positions - 1) You do it to be cool like everyone else 2) you hate it with a passion because everyone else is doing it and you are a nonconformist and unique....like everyone else 3) you are not all that excited about it, but you do find that it has its uses (distraction, reaching old friends, and MUSIC -- tons of independant stuff -- which is very cool). I do have to wonder though...what exactly is the difference between posting whoring here for attention and post whoring THERE for attention? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome.     I agree with that. I am comenting on the statement that legalization will remove the problem. And to find out how many libertarions are okay with legalization of all controled substances. How about prescription meds, should they be available over the counter to all? Legalization does not necessarily mean straight over-the-counter. It does not have to mean a free for all. This is one issue where I lean towards legalization for most substances, but there would still be control and regulation. And it would be taxed all to hell too.
