No, I think it was the one PLFExpert was talking about. It had a bunhc of people on it including the lawyer who sued on behalf of the workers there. Apparently, the government was putting toxic chemicals into ditches and then burning them for disposal and employees were getting problems with their skin (cracking and bleeding and pain). It was the first time the government acknowledged that Area 51 actaully exists. The lawyer though is still fighting and says he continues to be harrassed. It was interesting for sure. I can't keep up when people redefine the English language to mean what they say it means, not what English-speaking people understand it to mean. "mean" does not mean "meant". It means what it means. You miswrote...whatever, but it is what you wrote, and now you're changing the meaning. No one can argue like that. And it's a bad reflection on you, not on those who don't understand you, because no one but you interpreted it the way you're now casting it. Good grief. God, I hope this was a joke to use one of RL's posts and change the phrase in question. Not really funny but whatever. She misspelled 'meant'. She was replying to me pointing out a spelling error in her post. In fact, the sentence in which the word appears (in post #222) does not even make sense with the word 'mean' ("..you understood what bill mean.."). Of course, that is beside the point because the definition of meant and mean are the same. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=meant You will notice the search term is "meant" yet the defintion is for mean. Same word, different forms. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

There is a neat program on Area 51 on Discovery right now. No aliens. Just discussing cilivian viewing of it and its status. There is a guy who has climbed the one of the only mountains that is still open to the public (26 miles away) and took some video with a high powered telescope. The base is definitely still active. Very cool. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

That a certain percentage of the students pass the FCAT. http://www.manhattan-institute.org/html/cr_aplus.htm rl Yeah, I could have read better or looked that up....just a testament to how fun last night was I guess. I am glad you are here. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

So the assumption is that if a student earns a failing grade that the school failed??? I think the child failed. How does failure on the child's fault speak to the ability of the school to provide an education???? No. The SCHOOL recieves a failing grade from the state. I honestly have no idea WHAT the criteria for the grade that is given though. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
-
No, that is based on the idea of the program. students that go to a school that earned a failing grade from the state are eligible for vouchers. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

A subtle shift in syntax has occurred, here. Somehow you're now calling it the "age of consent" but I have always known it as the "age of majority" or the "age of adulthood." You make it sound like a woman cannot consent to anything before she is 18 years of age. You didn't write "age of SEXUAL consent." Actually, "age of consent" is a pretty welll known term. Here, I will help you out with a google search on it. http://www.google.com/search?q=age+of+consent&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official And it pretty much ALWAYS means SEXUAL consent.
