    I look at it that the that argument is not realistically used as support of the 2nd anymore. That is, if you ask a gun lobbbist why they are supporting gun rights, they are probably not going to say, "To give us guns so we can overthrow the government if we need to." Instead they are going to use the basic premise, "Because the 2nd says we can bear arms." So, using the argument that Republicans are in favor of guns for safety from the government (when they ARE the government) is just not a realistic one anymore because that is not the rationale they put forth.     Two things: 1) The majority of posts in that thread have to do with Christianity and other religions. I have read and posted to it since its inception. There are SOME yes, made just to get a higher number of posts, but less than you think. b) If thread drift is your reason for deletion, I think you just called for the deletion of the greater portion of DZ.com. Its not the first thread to drift and it is not the last. Its just the biggest. But thanks for this thread. Metathreads are highly amusing and allow more pointless arguement. Sweet.     Pretty sure they were at least 1mg (it was a while ago though). But I REALLY do not sleep well. And planes are even worse. When I took 3, I was awake for about 2 hours before I finally went down. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

    I do not ask for the window seat. I get aisle whenever I can. I have a bladder like a 5 year old girl and so to be nice to others, I take the aisle. It makes everyone more comfortable.

You sound just like Stephen Colbert on The Colbert Report in your manner of opinion (nice little digs on those who oppose your idea instead of justing saying what you believe in).
