Sounds like a nice relaxing time. I love the outdoors! I am trying to find some time to hike parts of the Appalachian Trail here in New England but there is just too many boogies in the near future!

Poor shipper. He should quit and start packing at Perris. They pay $5.00 a pack job and you guys only pay him 89 cents.

He he he. I just started packing again. I packed my canopy once for the "A" license and I used packers everytime after that. This weekend I was rushing packing to get on the next load. My friend says "You got all of your lines sorted?" I replied "It looked ok to me but than again I don't really know where they go anyway!" I went and jumped it and it took forever to open and it did a 360 degree turn when it did open. I landed and had him show me the lines again. Those are hard to remember!

I am with you Chuck and Betsy! After hurting my tail bone I learned a valuable lesson. Now I know that if I can not run it out I PLF it and not land on my ass. After a month sitting on a donut because of the pain I will try to never land on my ass again. Ouch!

I collapsed the canopy on my graduation jump about 20 feet in the air. Landed straight down on my ass and broke a piece of my tail bone and three vertebrea. I was out for two months. I waited two weeks after it stopped hurting and I was right back up in the air!

They can come in, however, they have to notify you 24 hours in advance. If you do not want them to come in you can tell them you do not want them too. However, this will just raise speculation with them and they will look over your apartment with a fine tooth comb looking for ways to make you pay for stuff (hole in carpet, cleaning of oven, refrigerator, etc.). This can end up costing a pretty penny. Either way they will take advantage of you. I would clean the apartment and let them in but ask for 24 hour notification and a representative from the apartment complex to be present in the apartment while they are showing it.

I am moving out of the hotel I am living in and getting a new place. The cost of real estate in New England is enough to make me sick. Plus I am ready for a new car. Plus the way the weather is here most people only jump from March - October. I will still be a skydiver but I will not be able to make 300 jumps a year.

Skydiving is out of the X Games altogether. There are different threads on here if you do a search. Some people think Pond Swooping should be added and others feel that the sport is better off without all of the commercialization.
