You cant open image files for editing in Word. You can embed an image in a word doc but thats not the same thing. __ My mighty steed

When you say picked up and carried by the yoke do you mean that it is grabbed one handed right in the center of the yoke? I carry it usually by putting one arm through the rig so that it hangs from my forearm OR I put it on. Now if I see a packer slamming my rig down in any way I'll do more than just talk to them about it I just meant that I'd seen packers stand a rig on its yoke to insert the PC in the BOC. __ My mighty steed

Try other scanner software. Most I've seen will give you multiple options for file types. Would your scanner software be made by Adobe by any chance? __ My mighty steed

If I understand the sellers comment correctly, they believed that the buyer was going to attempt to have the problems corrected. I wouldnt hold the seller responsible for this, especially since they have made this situation public and have tried various avenues of tracking the guy down. If I had an old car that was unsafe and unroadworthy, I would not trash it completely before attemtping to sell it. The buyer might be buying a known junker to fix it up. Happens all the time all over the world. As long as I accurately represented the condition to the buyer, thats all anyone can do. If the buyer then turned around and attempted to sell it to a third person and misrepresented the condition to make a profit that is still not the original sellers fault. The fact that they have made the whole thing public speaks to their character. This is only my opinion. __ My mighty steed -
Thanks for your input Frog You werent being pedantic You were making an incorrect assumption, though. You then went on and made some comments that were based on your assumption that did nothing to answer any of my questions. I do pack my own rig frequently. Just because I have used a packer doesnt mean that I do it 100% of the time. While character building is always desirable, I really dont think that more packing will contribute to that end in any significant way __ My mighty steed

Reading the comments in the recent incident in Perris about how the Cypres can be damaged if the control unit is in the yoke, therefore the rig should not be turned upside down to pack the PC. Well, I have a Vector 3 and the control unit is most definitely located in the yoke. While I have never turned it upside down to pack the PC, I HAVE seen packers do this on occasion. 1. Should I have any concerns about this? 2. If so, what would be a good way to let a packer know that I prefer they not do that to my rig? I have found that they can get bent out of shape if you attempt to correct their technique 3. Can Bill Booth or anyone from RWS comment on the advisability of this with regard to the Vector 3? (or any other vector with the unit in the yoke) Thanks __ My mighty steed

See the thread entitled THE YOU OWE THREAD My thread followed immediately after that one and was a direct response to that thread right down to the subject line I used. Nobody got the connection and therefore misinterpreted my intent so I attempted to explain it better. The meaning of my thread from the very first post was that I dont owe beer or liquor to anyone and I still mean that exact thing.
