The best thing that I think you can do is do exactly what you feel will help you towards your goal. If you think that moving to Florida will do that for you, then do it. Find a way to make it work, because it can. If you think that Florida is where you have to be to meet your goals, then go there. If you don't think that you can afford a year off, then pay the $10,000 the first year. Do what you have to do. I'm going through the same thing...big decisions relating to school, that is. The chances of you finding the absolute BEST way are pretty slim. Find what you believe will help you and go with it...being too hung up on the BEST way will just become a good excuse for you to procrastinate. Paul, you are thinking about it too much...you're not supposed to think about the scripture unless what it says does not suit you, and you therefore have to come up with some interpretation that fits conveniently into what you would like it to say. If someone came along and murdered your son or daughter, could you honestly say that you would turn the other cheek? There's a limit to that; perhaps eventually there could be forgiveness, but you would never forget or "turn the other cheek". ------------ That is EXACTLY the point. (according to scripture) We are supposed to strive to be like god, to live through love and transcend our humanity which would prevent us from "turning the other cheek". A) Although a mentally retarded person may KNOW the concept of right and wrong, does not mean that they understand it, or the consequences of their actions. But, someone's IQ quotient is not enough to know how their mind works, just the strength at which it does. B) Do you think then, that anybody who kills anybody should be executed, regardless of circumstance? I definitely think that she did something wrong, but don't know that she deserves to die for it.
