  1. Gotta love Jimmy! Favorite for now would have to be Jolly Mon Sing, but it is so hard to decide on just one. So when are the DZ.comers going to meet up for a Buffett concert?

    1000th

    Congrats mister 4 digit man!!
  3. 0:4:0 4 jumps on Saturday out of the Otter. No jumps on Sunday for me due to high winds.
  4. I own a sabre 230 and have put about 10 jumps on it. I had also heard about the hard openings, but have not experienced them. I split and roll the nose 6-7 times to help soften the openings and it seems to work for me.
  5. I know, little man in a big man's suit. I should have another waiting out at the DZ this weekend thanks to scrubby.
  6. Let's see, I know I can be useful somehow. * Able to repair bicycles. Used to be a bicycle mechanic. (DZ's have bicycles on them) * Can teach flat water (sea) kayaking, still trying to learn white water myself. (Some DZs are on the water. Suppose it is good for bad skydiving weather) * Able to put together business cases & maintain a business's books. (transfers almost anywhere) * Cook a good chicken parmesan.
  7. Very nice Liz. When you get it you will have to wear it to Wendy's and tell the cashier that it is the new uniform for those who ride the short bus. No biffing in the parking lot though. Nice design Scrubby.
  8. Looks like another skydiving clip is comming up after the ads. Canopy into powerlines. One day they will show real footage of our sport.
  9. Karen, I couldn't agree more. I plan on working on my RW skills this season. One of the AFF instructors (thanks Tim) at Techumseh recommended drill dives with one other person. Just get out of the plane and concentrate on flying around the other person taking grips on each side. I am tempted to the "dark side" by the awesome freefliers we have, but am personally more comfortable knowing that I am developing solid RW skills first. Oh and canopy accuracy as well....see screen name.
  10. Did someone say TEA TIME?
  11. Uhhhh.......don't you have until April 15th to put in and still claim it on THIS years? Yes, you have till April 15th for this years, but I try to put mine in throughout the year, ie the money I will deposit from my tax return will go against the 2004 limit. Helps by compounding earnings during the year rather than letting it sit in a savings account collecting lower interest. Of course this is market dependent. Already have the 2003 contributed. Ok, this qualifies me as a dork.
  12. Dumped it all in an IRA to put towards my retirement savings and reduce next years taxes. I really wanted to buy a new jump suit & part of a new main, but decided to try to be responsible this year. Damn priorities.
  13. Very nice Sporto. I am sure we will see many more great pics out of you guys throughout the season.
  14. That was more than disturbing. I asked him to go skydiving and he had no response. I really think that person is disturbed.
  15. HOLY CRAP!!! Okay, that really IS you JIM!!! WTF?? Scary isn't it.
  16. I am getting mine out on May 14th. I have one impacted and decided to rip all four out just to avoid future issues. Can't say I am looking forward to it, but I have been putting it off for 3 years and would rather do it on my time schedule than on my teeth's if they decide to start aching. Get em pulled!!
  17. I prefer a sharp rock. Gives me fond memories of our caveman ancestory.
  18. Flaps, that's right, I was supposed to use the flaps.
